Q: A seam on my 14-foot aluminum boat is coming apart do you think this will hold it?

It will hold, only if you are a good welder, if not to much heat and you will have a hole.

Q: Would this work to braze an 18awg stranded copper wire to a 14ga aluminum project box? thanks.

Melting points of Copper Alloys (including bronzes, pure copper, and brass) ranges around 1,675-1,981°F / 913-1,082°C. Aluminum Alloys have a lower temperature range than copper alloys. Pure aluminum melts at about 1,218 °F / 659 °C, but alloying with other elements can raise this. The 18 Gauge copper wire is thinner than the aluminum brazing rod, but since aluminum melts at much lower temps, I would give it a try and see. Theory only goes so far. Give it a test and find out. I'm willing to bet it can be done, esp if you use a flux on the aluminum, which will lower melting point further, and only involve the copper after the aluminum is melting.

Q: will it hold under pressure of a car AC condenser ?

Yes, soldering and brazing is how vehicle AC lines are constructed, even the high-pressure side. You just have to do it properly and make sure it seals.

Q: Will this braze to a chrome plated steel tube? Trying to 'weld' two small table legs together again, 1" square tube legs.

No, these are intended for use on aluminum and magnesium
