Brilliant camera without any subscription charges
Brilliant camera and no ongoing storage charges unlike the Ring cameras.Super clear image in daylight and at night time which is a big upgrade from our cctv camera which is terrible at night time.Has settings that enable you to designate which areas you want to monitor on your property and which to exclude which is handy as we are a corner property and get lots of passing traffic at the end of the driveway that we don't want to be notified about, and it pings an alert to your phone when anything occurs in that area marking it under a category such as motion, lingering etc.The default card only records when something happens and loops over existing recordings, so there is no endless scrolling to find what you are after, and there is plenty of room on the default sd card in the camera, we've had it installed a week and still able to see video that was taken whilst we were installing it. The camera does have the option of upgrading the card to something larger should you need it however. The set up is really easy to do via the easy to use app and installing it was just a case of taking the old doorbell off the wall and screwing the existing two wires that connected that into the back of the new camera, nice touch is that it comes with a template making it straight forward to know where to drill the holes as well as extension wires so that it wasn't so fiddly to install.Really happy with the camera and can't recommend it enough.

Superb bit of kit
Before I bought this I did a lot of research into features and costs of a video doorbell, and this has everything I wanted;-- A ringer inside the house rather than just a ring on the mobile- The ability to store events away from the outside unit in case it got nicked- The ability to wire it to a 24v transformer or operate it on battery- If battery, then a reasonable battery life- The ability to connect to an Alexa device so you get another ringer/video- The unit should light up when someone approaches at night- No monthly subscription to see recordings- And of course, all the necessary radar and people sensors and high-resolution cameraI looked at Ring and quickly discounted them due to their initial and ongoing cost to get the above.I installed this over three weeks ago, running on battery, and the battery is still on 70%.The software is easy to navigate and provides all the facilities to tailor what and where to pick up, so for me, this unit is perfect. The only drawbacks are that the unit needs to come off the door to be recharged (but the way the battery is going I can live with that) and the two-way audio is very poor. But I wonder - why does it needs 8-24v AC transformer (with the noise and heat problems) rather than the 5v DC phone charger that is used to charge the battery? Why not allow 5V DC to be the hard-wiring to keep the battery full?

This Doorbell Cam?
Yeah, It's Pretty Solid. So, I've had this doorbell camera for over a year now, and honestly, I'm not complaining. The Good Stuff:* Picture's sharp: Like, seriously clear. Even at night. Makes it easy to see who's at the door, which is kinda important.* No monthly fees? Yes, please!: You get all the basics without having to fork over cash every month. They do have extras you can pay for, but you don't have to.* Charging is a breeze: Popping it off to charge is super easy. No tiny screws to mess with. You need a special tool, which is good, keeps it from getting nicked.* Battery's alright: It lasts a decent amount of time, though maybe not as long as they say. But, we get a lot of people coming and going, so that probably explains it.* Plays nice with phones: Works fine on my Android and the wife's iPhone. No issues there. The Not-So-Great Stuff:* Speaker could be louder: Sometimes it's hard for people to hear you talking through it. The pre-recorded messages are loud, though.* Live feed can be slow: Sometimes it takes a minute to load the live feed when someone rings. Could be my phone's reception, though.Bottom Line:Yeah, it's got a couple of minor quirks, but overall it's a solid doorbell cam. The picture quality's great, no subscription fees is a huge plus, and it's easy to charge. Would I buy it again? Definitely. It gets the job done.

Easy to use, high quality and excellent Customer Service support
This is a great system. The doorbell is very easy to install, with the base attaching to the door and the unit clipping onto the base. The receiver needs plugging in, but it doesnt need to be too close to the door. You get a choice of using the internal storage (free) or Cloud storage (chargeable). The connection to the mobile phone was easy and the app gives a clear view from the door cam. Answering the doorbell from the mobile is easy and communication with the visitor is good, although a little quiet if they are not close to the camera. The door bell battery (of not hard wired) lasts for several month and is very quick and easy to recharge (you need to remove the unit from the base - remember to turn off the anti theft warning on the phone!!!).Customer service from AOSU is second to none. The emails are replied to quickly in a professional and friendly way and any questions answered in full with lots of help and advice if you ned it.Overall, great value for money compared to other similar systems, easy to install, easy to use and backed by great customer service.
