I really like the design of this headphone. It fit behind my head with the ear pieces readily available to my ear. It paired right away with my television and phone. I use the headphone 99% for when I sleep to I don't keep my husband awake. I usually only use the right side of the headphone to drown out my husband's snoring but still have the ability to hear what's going on in our home. For some reason, the right side of the headphone stopped working after 8 months. It's the side where the controls are and where you charge it and maybe it got too much use. I contacted Avantree and found out there was a 2 year warranty (usually they only come with one). Dannah contacted me right back, understood the issue and sent me a new headset. She was in constant contact with me by Email and the ease of replacement was seamless. The new one was easily paired again and I was sent a return ticket to send the problem one back to them. I have not had one problem with Avantree and am very grateful for their help in getting me new headphones. If you're looking for headphones to sleep, or even to run with, as I can see these working very well for runners, these are the headphones to purchase. My only concern was that I had broken off the tip of the right ear piece which made it difficult to stay in my ear but it still worked as presented. This product is "you get what you paid for." I have profound hearing loss and struggle to watch TV at times with my hearing aids. As anyone with hearing loss knows, finding a solution that works well and is comfortable is a huge challenge. To that end, I would highly recommend this product.PROS** The "Enhanced Volume" on this model provides higher volume options with no loss of fidelity. If you suffer from hearing loss this unit is the real deal.** Excellent clarity: Full field dialogue and background sounds are crystal clear for watching action, drama and sports. Brings the richness and depth back into watching TV and movies.** Easy to set up and works well with soundbars too.** Routinely get the advertised 20+ hrs usage with a full charge.** Have NOT experienced any latencyI bought this version to replace an Avantree HT5006 20Hrs Wireless Earbuds that failed after about 2 months. The earbuds on the HT5006 fit better than the this model, but this new model has a much higher range. The unit is easy to install and comes with everything needed to install on your TV and/or soundbar setup with no issues.Customer service is excellent. The initial unit stopped working for whatever reason. Contacted customer service online and after a few troubleshooting attempts, they quickly sent out a replacement with return label for the other unit.

2ND UPDATE (a couple more stars):The seller did not actually process the refund from the original refund, in spite of the status shown in my Amazon account order history. They did, however, send me a code for a free replacement that I was able to order through a somewhat awkward order process on their website. I figured it out, and it was shipped quickly and arrived as expected.So far, the replacement unit is working well, although its sound quality is more like pretty good than really great. That may be expected for earbuds, however, and it does provide me with the volume I need to make dialog generally more intelligible. My complaints about the original item - sound quality that had turned scratchy after a short period of use and the failure of the base unit to pass sound through to the sound bar when it was not in use, all are cured in this new unit.Here's my recommendation: take care of your hearing while you are young, but if you need a boost when watching TV later in life, this is a good unit to try.One further note about the seller -- they have been very responsive and proactive, just what you want when you encounter a product problem. Many thanks for the resolution, Avantree.Update:Added back one star - Avantree seems to have made a good faith effort to follow up after spotting my whiny review. Unfortunately I had already returned the item.If I had held on to the unit, they may have offered some alternatives. I'm pretty sure a return was still in the cards as there were three points of failure that involved both components, the dock and the headset. It's possible this was just an anomalous defective unit, but after a couple weeks messing with it as it progressively got worse, I was just done with it and will continue to look for something that reliably helps compensate for my partial hearing loss as I watch TV.Original Review:Although its sound through the headset was initially acceptable, after some use the sound quality became scratchy and there was no longer any change in sound character when pressing the equalizer mode select button. It should also be noted that the transmitter dock must always be turned on to pass sound through to a sound bar, even if the headset is turned off. There is no passive pass-through, so the dock must always be powered up. In cases where the headset user isn't present, this results in a set of flashing lights on the transmitter dock as it is waiting to pair. This can be annoying to a TV viewer and may require covering the dock or placement out of the viewer's sight line.Overall, I'm disappointed with the purchase and am returning it.

Easy to install. I can now watch TV and hear all the dialogue. These can also be connected to a soundbar or AV system. Highly recommended.

This was advertised to help seniors hear better. The volume does not go up very high on it. The other features are great.

The Avantree Medley 6018 Wireless Earbuds work perfect. The product was easy to set up, I used the OPT cable, attached it to my Samsung TV and attached my OPT cable from my sound bar to the "OPT Out" port on the back of the Charging Dock. My sound bar still works weather the Charging Dock is in the on or off position. It was easy to use my TV's Settings to find the Sound/Audio and choose "PCM" (found in the Expert Setting). The sound quality is excellent! I am very pleased with this purchase.

These work very well with great clarity and improved sound over the regular tv audio. I recommend!

Ho studiato vari offerte su Amazon prima di decidere e non mi sono pentito di aver scelto Avantree clear. Per la prima volta da qualche anno sento bene cio che mi interessa in tv. L'auricolare e leggermente scomodo negli orecchie ma è di poco conto in confronto alla chiarezza del suono che si puo regolare secondo le necessità. Posso andare in cucina, in bagno o fuori sulla terrazza senza perdere ciò che sto seguendo. Comodissimo. Ho fatto un ottimo acquisto che mi ha rivoluzionato la vita. Mi dispiace non averlo fatto prima anche perché è semplice da usare per una anziana come me. Consigliatissimo.
