I purchased this to add a silicone mat under two resin printers. It was more material than I needed but it was the only option that was wide enough to cover the entire top of my printer stand. Cutting was easy, I rough cut the mat to the right length with scissors (use good heavy duty scissors, not a cheap dollar store pair) and did the final cutting with a box cutter. Both cuts were easy with zero issues. This material is THICK. 1.25mm may not seem thick but when compared to some smaller mats I have that average .2mm it's monstrously thick.Beware though, this stuff in a dust and lint magnet. It seems to suck the tiniest particles of dust out of the air all the time. 2 days of it simply sitting unused in my print room (not a veey dusty place) leaves the surface feeling gritty to the touch. It's also very difficult to get the dust off, nothing I've tried has done the job easily. The closest I've come to easily cleaning it is wiping it down with IPA, letting it dry and wiping it down again.I'm super pleased with this product. It was enough material to do the job I needed it for plus do the same for my roommate's printer stand and have enough left over for other uses. Absolutely great value for the price.

I bought this to protect the surface of a black metal cabinet that scratched easily and it worked PERFECT! It cuts really, really easily (like you can just glide your scissors along in a straight line). I used a sharpie to draw out where I needed to cut and was able to easily get off any marker leftover afterwards. It has a shiny side which is supposed to go face down to help it kind of “adhere” to the surface (it doesn’t actually have any adhesive and you can easily lift it off, but it’s like an anti-slip material on one side) and it works really well. The top side is more of a matte finish and objects can move across it easily but don’t slip and slide, plus it can be wiped down easily to remove any dust, crumbs, liquid, or other residue. It’s very thin, but not in a way where it seems cheap and it would be extremely difficult to tear or scratch. It lays completely flat and I haven’t had any problems with it shifting around. It’s so seamless that people don’t even realize there’s a mat there unless I tell them. I’ll definitely find a use for the rest of the roll at some point.

I've got a couple of chests of drawers in my 1908 kitchen, and one of them is long and shallow. This rolled sheet was the perfect depth, and I only had to cut about an eighth off the length, so there wasn't too much waste. I only wish I could custom order the right size for my other chest. It's a really nice soft smooth material which lays flat, receives dishes well, wipes up well, and protects the varnish under it. I haven't put any hot pans on it, so can't speak to that.

Was looking for a waterproof substance for a coffee bar cabinet and this works great. Water doesn’t soak through and is easy to clean up.

You get a lot on a roll and it is very heavy duty. Cuts easy. Would recommend this product
