This is a nice sd card reader. Works well with an apple devices such as iPhone/Ipad/iPod, android devices and all that use type c connector. With this you can easily transfer photos to the phone without using a laptop. To make it easier just download the app. You can use it instantly! Just buy a mini SD card whatever memory suits you and you are all set! It can be used both ways transfer from phone to sd card or sd card to phone or transfer to your laptop, included otg cable makes it even easier. Its small, therefore you can always carry it with, for more convenience a durable case is included. It can save and transfer photos fast. Highly recommended to people who love to take too many photos. Works very well. And all the ports have cover for protection! Highly recommended.

High hopes....very disappointed
I have done everything possible based on the submitted questions by other customers to get this to work with my Iphone 6plus. Nothing has worked. I've downloaded the iUSB pro app. When I plug in the Card Reader, the app says "iUSB is not connected". I've restarted my phone and plugged in the reader, then opened the app--nothing. I don't think my reader works and it is frustrating!! I bought this to free up space on my phone since the holidays are here and I know I'll be taking several videos and photos.I'm not sure what else to do but send it back. Very disappointed!!

High power device?
I got this so I'd be able to use my Samsung S7 to copy files from a microSD card. Unfortunately when I plug this into my S7 it complains this device consumes too much power.I can plug it into an iPad or a Nexus 7 tablet and neither of those complain.Anyone know of an adapter like this that will work with an S7?

Works* (mostly)
Works fine as a SD card to USB adapter. Works "well enough" as a SD card to USB - C adapter (I sometimes get a response from my Note 8 that it's detecting the adaptor as a power supply instead of a storage device). Haven't tried it as a SD card to Lightning adapter. DOES NOT WORK AT ALL as a SD card to USB - Micro adapter. I've tried it in 3 different android devices with micro ports, no luck. Seems to be a factory defect. I messaged the seller 4 days ago and have yet to get a response from them. Will be requesting a refund, as I purchased it solely for the SD card to USB - Micro feature.

couldn't be more pleased with this product
I bought this device after a Belkin (lightning only) adapter failed on me after a month. Wish i had bought this first...it was cheaper, worked with more devices (I have an android phone and iPad), sturdier, and came with carry case that has plenty of room for extra sd cards and the OTG cable that was included. Now i don't have to use my limited device storage, couldn't be more pleased with this product. Have recommended to many of my friends.

Ask before you buy
I could not get the device to work with my computer because it didn't have USB 3.0. That need was never mentioned in any of the literature.

USB-C too tight, feels like it will break something.
Would give 0 stars if I could. USB-C plug is so tight and crunchy that it felt like the port would break upon insertion. I have found this is a bit too common with aftermarket USB-C cables and peripherals right now.
