I love these stars. I put nearly all 528 of them up on the ceiling - a few escaped and went I don't know where. Putting them up was a pain in the rear and a pain under the fingernails. But - it was worth it in the end!These stars a BRIGHT! I was very skeptical after reading some lousy reviews about them. These star stickers have been on the ceiling for a few months and none of them have fallen off. I do have flat paint on the ceilings and I don't live in a very humid area, so maybe that plays a part in it. In the day the stars look like glossy circles all over the ceiling, but it certainly doesn't look and worse than having the big huge star shaped kind of glowing stars plastered all over the ceiling.I have a 60 watt lamp in the room that my stars are in and just a couple of minutes of that is enough to make the stars glow. They aren't blinding bright from the lamp but they are still pretty bright - but I have dragged in a fluorescent light bar before and really lit them up to the point where it is somewhat uncomfortable to stare at. They glow a bright green and the glow lasts for quite some time.One thing - it is really difficult to make constellations! I made a few, but the ceiling is so loaded that they got lost in there.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The stars are bright and very cute in desert themed room! Make your little one or yourself happy and get yourself some stars. :)Update : I've walked past these stars at 2 or 3 am - No light had been on in the room in hours and the room gets minimal sunlight. The stars were GLOWING! I was amazed. I am continually impressed.

The pros: Looks great & easily recharges. Also seems like the adhesive is adequate that it will stick for some time (I noticed this when removing a few stars that were put in the wrong location.The cons: Hard to peel (although there is a method i found worked best for me) and assembly is a project to say the least.Story: I bough these for my sons birthday and foolishly though I would surprise him when he went to sleep. It is recommended to place the stars in direct sunlight for sometime prior to assembly. I also decided to do a real star map of the September sky. I had no idea what I was getting into. I ended up having my son help me and we have been doing parts of it at a time. It is taking far longer than I thought. This is not the fault of the product but thought I would just let you know if you plan on embarking on a similar en devour. They do look great up.Recommendation:Installation - leave stars in the sheet when removing the backing. It is easier then popping the star out first and then trying to remove the backing.Use - I recommend leaving the lights on in the room after it gets dark before the room occupant goes to bed. The luminescence does fad and you will have best effect if they are fully charged prior to being enjoyed.Rating - I would give this a 5 star if someone else was doing the installation. They look great. However, the installation is a chore.

These are awesome. Heavy duty stickers that really stick and really glow. I tend to leave the light on in my son's room after his nap and all evening so they have lots of charge to them and that helps them glow. Otherwise they don't glow even with a big window in his room. But the window faces East and is shaded a little so it doesn't surprise me that not enough light comes through it. I love that they are small stickers and not plastic stars with sticky tack or tape on the back. I love that they are just dots and not space ships or planets. They look more real to me that way. I have a big paper tree on the wall and ceiling of my son's room and at night with the stars and a little light from the widow or hallway it almost feels like we are outside. I looked for these for years. I will buy these again - for my master bedroom :)

These stars (which are just circles, but that's really ok) were easy to stick on the ceiling and looked pretty good when I was done but when the lights were turned off I became pretty disappointed. Very weak glow compared to another brand of stars I already have (they are shaped like stars and are made of hard plastic that has to be attached to the ceiling with a bit of sticky putty).I even brought out my black light to "charge" up the stars and still they really didn't hold their charge, if I had just used the room light to charge them I would have been even more disappointed.

They are much bigger than expected, not the usual tiny glow in the dark stars. Also they are all circles, no other shapes. But they do hold a glow very well, they are bright when the light is turned off and stay bright for a good bit. They have stayed on my ceiling for a couple weeks and I have popcorn on the ceiling so this is very good. I don't like their big size though, it doesn't look like far away stars just like cool glowing dots.

Does glow pretty well if the room is dark, just using the ceiling light to energize. Can glow brighter, but need to shine a light at the ceiling to do so. From an application standpoint...most of the larger dots have been stamped through, so will need to use finger nails or such to separate from backing...this does slow down your ability to put up hundreds of dots...annoying, but not that painful.

I used my glow stars to make polka dots for a glow in the dark drum show. They stuck REALLY well (even on metal cymbals) and they were this nice strong plastic material so they didn't rip when they were moved around and could be reused. The circle does come off with the sticker, but it's really not bad, we just had to sweep after decorating our drums. They glowed well, I just wished they would've lasted a little longer.

I love the stars there great. I haven't used them up yet but,I will.
