As Describe and Direct Repplacement
Time will tell but, out of the box a direct replacement for 2013 Mercury ProXs 150 and ridded me of the dreaded alarm and Guardian Mode after diagnosing to the engine tank oil sensor. Was getting the long beep after initial all systems go beep (even when not started), pulled engine sensor out of tank and held a magnet to the sensor itself, bingo alarm went away narrowing to the internal tank sensor/magnet. Longevity not yet known but, initially as described and very reasonably priced compared to OEM.

HIGH FAILURE RATE - POOR QUALITY
We are a professional Marine Repair Shop and the customer was working on a budget so we went with an Amazon part rather than OEM. Less than 1 month after installation the sensor for the alarm on this tank failed, it is cracked causing the oil to overflow into the cowling. Can't get in contact with the manufacturer as it's outside of the 30 day return policy provided by Amazon. Amazon needs to flag this item for frequent failure!!!!!

Worked for me
Just installed it yesterday on my 135 Optimax. No more four beeps every two minutes.Installation was quick and easy. Unbolted the three bolts(half inch socket and end wrench). Tipped the old one upside down and snipped the zip ties. The hoses slid right off, then I just had to unplug the two wires. I had my buddy hold the old one upside down while I installed the hoses and wires on the new one. We drained the oil into the new one before I bolted it up. The bottom bolt was the only difficult issue and it really wasn't that bad.The last thing to do was finish priming the oil. I just started the engine, loosened the cap until the oil bled out and killed it. Fully tightened the cap and it was done. No leaks and everything looks good. Problem solved.I'll edit this review if I ever have an issue with it.

Oil level sensor failed after 1 year.
Product fit well and worked for about a season of boating. After 1 year the sensor failed and the motor went into limp home mode. I am going to purchase an OEM oil tank now..

First one Did not work second one did
Purchased this replacement part and had it installed by a professional marine mechanic and it did not work at all totally defective part and now. I have to wait to order the original part and will cost me double the money and I have to pay the mechanic again for the new part to be installed!!!!!!!!!!!!Update: ordered another one and it worked fine the first one was defective for sure just sucks it cost me more money.
