“Perfect for Staying Safe—and Sound—on the Move!”
My husband absolutely loves these SHOKZ OpenRun headphones. He often says how amazing it is to hear his music clearly while still staying fully aware of everything around him—whether it’s cars passing, traffic signals, or simply chatting with someone on the sidewalk. The open‑ear design is a total game-changer—no more struggling to choose between immersive sound and situational awareness. They’re incredibly lightweight—around 26 g—and feel like nothing around his head. He can wear them for long runs or workouts without feeling weighed down. The wraparound titanium frame stays secure and comfortable even during intense movement. One of his favorite features is the battery life. He gets about 8 hours of music and calls on a full charge, and the quick‑charge feature is a lifesaver—just 10 minutes plugged in gives about 1.5 hours of playback. Perfect for mornings when he forgets to charge the night before. They’re also built to last—with an IP67 rating, they’re sweat-proof and fully waterproof (up to 1 m for 30 min), so rainy runs or sweaty gym sessions don’t faze them. Plus, the moisture-detection alert adds peace of mind when charging.Sound-wise, they deliver music through bone conduction, so while the experience isn’t as immersive as in-ear earbuds, the clarity and balance are surprisingly good for open-ear design. Vocals come through clearly, and the sound is motivating—perfect for his workouts.Plus, they perform consistently during exercise—secure fit, reliable Bluetooth, and zero ear fatigue.

Great sounding feather-light headphones!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was gifted a set of Aeropex by AfterShokz bone-conducting Bluetooth headphones (basically the granddad version of this set) over 4 years ago. While that set still works very well in every way, and is very comfortable and often forgettably light on my head, it has always been larger on me than ideal because I have a smaller sized head than most guys. I got these during Prime Days 2025 for the smaller size. What I noticed first after the improved fit, was the definite improvement in the operation of the Volume/Power button; on the old set, it is almost impossible to tell if you are pressing it correctly unless/until it finally turns on or off because there is no audible or tactile "click" to signal it. These have that "click" and it completely avoids the frustration that the old set evoked. That's a big difference to me. I haven't noticed much else about these that's different from the earlier gen set. The sound quality seems the same, maybe better, actually... less reverb. I'm hoping the battery in these is as good as the earlier gen, because those things still last me for days of city bus rides.Overall, I highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for great sound while remaining aware of your surroundings, anyone who has a hard time hearing callers' voices on the phone, or filtering out background noise during calls. These are superb for both (especially when paired with a certain "engaging" loop-type earplugs).I will come back eventually to add relevant information regarding durability and battery life.

Good quality
I love this headset, it has a two year warranty so hopefully it is well made. Highly recommended by my son who uses his daily. So comfortable I forget I have it on. Was easy to connect to my cell phone. I bought the mini and it is a little big but that hasn't been an issue. Volume is controlled by my cell phone. I've tried several other headsets that I could hear with but others couldn't hear me. I'm told this one sounds better than my cell phone and my landline. I highly recommend it.

Amazing product
Shokz is a definite yes in my household, and my bf is the one that recommended it to me. You can listen to whatever and even at full volume, nobody around you can really hear what you’re listening to ! I got the minis because apparently i have a small head (?) and these fit but pull down a bit unless i bobby pin it to my hair. The design is sleek and simple, the buttons are easy to use to turn it on and off, volume up and down and put it in pairing mode.It automatically connects to my phone everytime and i love it, it provides a better sound quality than my microphone does and is overall one of my favorite purchases. It also charges super fast with is amazing. My only issue is that it pulls down on my ears after a few hours of wearing them but its easy to readjust :)
