The solar power feature of these cameras keeps rechargeable batteries powered up and the blinking lights last for years. Before I had solar power cameras, I would have to change the alkaline batteries on a ladder every few months. I used to have vandalism behind my fence, but since mounting these cameras high up, that's no longer a problem.

First off when the camera is remotely close you immediately notice how cheap the plastic looks. This isn't too bad when the camera is out-of-hand and it's mounted at a distance of five feet or greater.Con's:- The hollow "cable" that comes attached is too short.- Cheap plastic, especially concerning at the swivel.- Noticeable poor quality at close ranges.Pro's:- Looks fine when mounted at a distance.- Flashing light would potentially deter nighttime intruders.- Don't need to install batteries; mount it directly out of the box.- The text on the side of the "camera" looks decently printed and is easily eligible.Basically put this "camera" is your unattractive cousin Sally. You know, the one that likes to "eat her feelings" if you catch my drift. Looks good from afar but far from good-lookin'.

Looks realistic. Does,not,come,with the rechargeable batteries. I had to carefully rotate the barrel (that the bolt that secures the camera to the base) in order to install the bracket on a vertical surface. Now, even with the bolt cranked down tight the camera flops around. CHEAP. I had to add additional hardware and use some gasket sealer to secure the camera in position. I am going,to buy another one. If it has the same flaw as this one, I will return it and post another review.

I highly recommend this product. I have had my original for 6 months. The light starts flashing right out of the box. This means the solar panel is strong enough to flash the light without any battery. For night use you will need 2 rechargeable batteries. I have just purchased my second unit. I hope it has longevity. It looks real, the price is reasonable, it installs easily. I will most likely purchase another one. Hope this helps.

Pretty good little fake camera. 6 months later still blinking and in one piece. Just something to scare off the riff raff using my driveway as a turn around.

Well says flood light lights up when somebody sets it off and blinking light blinks when dark well noether is true red light blinks 24-7 and theres no light at all dont buy you ate not getting what you pay for
