Nice product.
I first ordered my normal waist size, 36, but they were a bit too snug. But, I noticed that they were lightweight, nice-looking, and a quality product. I returned them and ordered the next size up, a 38 waist, and they came within a reasonable time. I tried them on and they fit just fine. I like this product and I would definitely order this product again if I need more of the same item in a different color. I like the fact that these cargo pants are convertible and the legs have a zipper at the knees. These slacks can be worn throughout the year, and since I wear shorts most of the year during warm weather, I can put the lower section back on when the weather is cooler. ( I try to remember to also wash the lower section when I wash the shorts in order to keep them the same) Thank you. Dennis Stevens

So far so good
The pants arrived in a reasonable period of time. They appear to be well made. Very light, lots of pockets. The zip-off shorts feature is nice. The fit is as expected. The front pockets are a little shallower than I'd have preferred, but not horribly shallow. The belt is comically long - wraps half-way around my back. But overall, satisfied so far. Will see how they wear.

A little snug
Seem to be nicely made but they ran tight so I had to return them

Travel Pants
I bought the pants in a 36. (5’6” 190lbs) They fit great. The fabric is very light. Taking the leg off was easily done and placing them back on was even easier. Plenty of pockets. Real comfortable.Only problem I saw was that when I went through the TSA check point going and returning from my trip the body scan picked the up the zipper area of my pants as containing a foreign square object appx 5 X 4 in size. Both times I was patted down. And cleared. A bit of an inconvenience.Post if you had that same issue.I like the pants despite that. I have ordered 2 more pair.

Almost a good replacement
I bought these in hopes of replacing my two pairs of Eddie Baurer convertible travel pants I used while working overseas which I liked because it made going through airports easy (had an integrated belt), could be converted to shorts quickly, and had plenty of pockets. But these were missing a few features I liked.Pockets: The front pockets were not slit pockets. The cargo pockets were Velcro instead of zip up (although one side had a pocket-behind-a-pocket which had a zipper and the rear pocket had a zipper)There were no zippers on the pant leg bottoms to make the conversion that much easier. More often than not I had to remove my shoes to convert from pants to shorts or vice versa. The belt was one-size-fits-all and was very long. It has a sliding clip to keep the excess length but more often than not I had to stuff it in my pocket. And more often than not it fell out and just got in the way and looked horrible. Besides, the belt didn't stay tight when cinched. What prevented me from ranking this above a 3 star was the fit, ultimately. I wore it first on a fall or winter with some long johns underneath. It just felt funny, like the long underwear was somehow holding up the fabric of the pants when I bent my knees or even walked. Later, on a warmed day I wore just the pants and it had the same feeling for the most part. They were, again, uncomfortable but I couldn't pinpoint why. It took me a while but I realized it was the crotch. It was too low or something and impeded my thighs when I moved, as I said, either bending at the knee or even walking. It felt like the pants as a whole were sagging when it reality they were in place but the legs did not have freedom of movement.Regardless of the exact cause, but I found them only wearable for short periods of time because that sensation of always feel like your pants are too tight or falling down was distracting enough that I didn't want to wear them ever. As the window to return closed, I now only wear them if I'm going out for a short time or maybe if I'm doing something around the yard.

Solid Pants for outdoorsman.
My first impression is these are a solid hiking and outdoor activity pants. But at this point I’ve only worn them twice. Time will tell if they hold up to the abuse that I put my pants through with my activities. This is an update. I've now wore these about 7/8 times. I like them enough that I ordered a second pair. So for me they are comfortable and easy to wash and ware. As for strength again we shall see if they will deal with the abuse I give them.

Fell apart after four wearings
The snaps on both side pockets are far too strong for the fabric. Both ripped out after four wearings, making the pants unusable. A zipper or velcro would make the pockets usable. DO NOT BUY if you need the snaps on the pockets to function.

Incredibly light and flexible yet tough and very protective.
Through thorns, mud and sharp rocks, these pants had a tough summer yet never ripped or fell apart. Great protection for whatever is out there; water, intense sun, brush, insects, sliding down steep boulders, mud and dust. Large boot-friendly cuffs act as gaiters to keep my legs and my feet dry when splashed with gallons of water. Made of very tough, durable fabric, multiple, very generous pockets with mesh to sift out dirt, these convertible outdoor pants are a scremin’ deal!!

Pants
The price was ok but the quality is poor. These pants were bought because it is for someone who is missing a leg.
