Q: Has anyone upgrade from platinum to iridium for a Yamaha F225 4 stroke outboard engine? If you have, I'd like to hear comments regarding the change.

I ‘ve been running the iridium plugs in my 2008 Yamaha F225-TXR for three years as I use my bout around 400-500 hours a year, and did not want to have to change plugs every 100hr. I have ran them as many as 250 hr between spark plug changes. If you buy on line you have to make sure they are genuine NGK Spark Plug, cause I bought 1-set of Plug where the boxes looked just like the Official NGK Plug box but they were not! When I changed them out the electrodes were gone. I noticed a big difference when I switched to Iridium plugs the motor runs so smooth that at idle you can’t hear the motor running. You can call NGK and they will cross reference the factory plug to there Iridium plug for your application.

Q: does this item fits nissan teana 2003 and nissan xtrail 2001?

In some regions of the world, the Nissan Teana is also referred to as the Nissan Maxima and in relation to your question my mechanic has advised that YES, these plugs would also fit both the Teana and xtrail. They are also referred to as long-range plugs.

Q: would these fit a ram rebel 2018?? i need 16 don't you sell individually?

Q: are these pre gapped?

NEVER gap iridium or platinum plugs with a normal gap tool. never apply pressure to the central electrode. They should be pre-gapped to .044 in (1.1mm).

NGK 4469 plug-2015 Nissan Desert Runner

Just got around to installing these plugs and they worked like a champ. Plugs in the 4pack did scan as true NGK plugs not knockoffs. The other 2 loose ones were identical. They do appear to come pre-gapped at .042, so I had to open them up a hair to .044 for my 2015 v6 4.0 desert runner. Great value & I Would not hesitate to buy again. *EDIT*For those interested I didn’t know this until I replaced my plugs, but the original plugs were Iridium LASERS. They lasted 150,00 miles, but i see they cost about 3-4x as much. I attached a pic of the originals. NGK makes great plugs and im sure both work fine. Just sharing the information for my fellow DIY’ers!

Exactly what was needed

These plugs fit exactly as described, perfect for my G35 motor. Since they are already pre-gapped to the correct amount for this installation, replacement was easy. My motor started right up after I replaced the plugs. And it seems to be running much more smoothly now. These plugs ought to last for about another 100,000 miles again.

Worked great on my 2008 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0L. They do not come gapped correctly so double check before you install. Cheaper than what the parts store charges you so great deal!
