Brilliant, vibrant colours!
The pens I used to use were a bit rubbish. These were superb! So easy and the silver is just brilliant. Well worth the money.

Good
Nice pens, makes it fun for the kids to decorate with. My 2 year old enjoyed decorating her ginger bread man

Don't seem to work on food...
Work on hard surfaces but not soft. Didn't work well on solid chocolate. Not sure what edible items it would work on as all are slightly soft. Good range of colours.

Hugely popular birthday party activity!
I bought these last minute when I ran out of time to properly decorate extra sugar cookies in advance of my little one's 5th birthday. I set up a cookie-decorating station and let the kids draw on their own unfrosted biscuits instead. The children LOVED this across all ages who tried it, from 2-11years old.The double sided pens meant that even younger kids could manage to colour by using the bigger side.Apart from the yellow being very neon, all of the colours seemed to be on the same palette and worked well together.I did attempt to use them on a few frosted biscuits and needed to be careful with the fine point side so that it didn't crack through the frosting, but otherwise I'd see these as a fun and useful set for for adults and for children.

Good, but be gentle
These are good cake pens. Colours are vibrant and are relatively easy to use. The nibs, no idea if that's the correct term, are quite hard and will very easily puncture fondant icing if you press to hard.I managed to decorate a cake in the style of a VW Type 2 Campervan so all was well.Very impressed with the metallic coloured pens, wasn't expecting much, but they really do have a sheen to them.
