Works fine; instructions not included
The media could not be loaded. Replacing a mirror with no function besides lights. Given that lights are literally all over the place in my car, it was an easy trade to make. The only pain at install was finding the directions for writing this thing. You need to go back online to find those. Once you get said instructions, all the parts you need are included, including t taps so that you'll be able to get the wiring connected. I drive a GM so it slid right on to the existing wedge but that might not be a universal experience. Works fine after the compass is calibrated.Programming the homelink was easy (to be fair, operating instructions are in the package) took a few minutes and we were ready to go.There's very little give in the mirror so once you adjust it, it will stay in place. We'll see how that holds up

Excellent product
This appears to be a well built mirror. Good weight to it, like the frameless look and with the compass, auto-dimming and homelink built in makes a great mirror.Actual, install of the mirror to the existing mount on a 2023 Nissan Frontier was a perfect fit. It feels a lot sturdier than the factory mirror it replaces. I feel it was well worth the price. So, yes it deserved five stars.Would I purchase this same mirror again if ever needed...heck yes. Will I recommend it on some forums I visit...yes.HOWEVER, I did knock it down two stars for "easy to install." For some odd reason, there is about a 12 inch pigtail with a connector, coming off the back of the mirror which is plugged into the harness that is positioned under the front of the headliner over to the A-pillar and down to a fuse block; or in my situation an accessory pigtail (purchased from a Nissan dealer for a Nissan truck) that plugs into a connector pre-wired by the factory just for accessories to be added (kudos to Nissan for allowing this). Therefore, the connector end up situated under inside the headliner between the headliner and the roof causing the headliner to be further down than if it was only wires. My suggestion is to just put the plug on the back of the mirror like in previous models so that the only thing needed to be shoved up above the headliner is wires; nothing but wires.(If that bulge ends up bothering me, I may just cut off both the female/male connectors and solder the three wires but want to wait a few weeks to make sure the mirror continues to work; and I really have no feeling it will not.One other problem. The T-connectors supplied; two of them were defective. I connected all up and nothing worked, double checked and still nothing on the mirror worked (and yet, all other items I connected today worked ok).So, started checking the connectors since all other connectors I used for all other accessories were T-connector purchased from Amazon and all those items worked. The spade ends for the Gentex supplied t-connectors were not long enough to mate with the inside metal connector of the part connected directly to the wire. Both the IGN + and the BATT+ connectors were defective, the GND I never checked. I just replace the two defective ones and the GND to get the project back on track to be done today.

Good auto-dimming mirror
I managed to get one of these from Amazon's "good as new" used store for $209. Even better, used my hotel award points and it ended up at $63 :-) For that price, it's fantastic! I knock the overall rating down by one because Gentex give very little information on their website about which of the 2 power wires is full time 12v (it's the black/white stripped one). I installed it on my 2022 Toyota Camry SE which doesn't have the BSM option. Ended up running the supplied extra wiring across the drivers side windshield top and down inside the driver's side door seal. Added bonus; you don't need to fully remove the A-pillar trim per the online videos, only crack the top part open a bit to allow the wire inside then route it behind the airbag installation. The hardest part was finding full time 12v to power the Homelink function. Tried fuse tapping to the interior 7.5amp trunk open fuse first.. not enough power so ended up tapping into the rear door 20amp fuse instead. Seems it needs at least a 15amp circuit to function. Used the 12v accessory power (what used to be called the cigarette lighter socket) for switched 12v. You'll see a "C" initially on the compass display, means it's calibrating. You have to drive in a slow circle for a few minutes until it figures out where it is. Once done, it seems quite accurate. Homelink programs easily enough. Good mirror, recommended.

Great mirror!
Installed in a 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. Stock mirror was just a generic mirror. Visibility is akin of going from a 1080p screen to 4k. Added capability of auto dimming is amazing for the tiny car as most headlights shine right into the mirror. Built in compass is a capability the car didn't have even with the factory navigation and with the Homelink, I don't have to dig around into the console to find my garage door opener that I have no place to clip it to.Install was simple (one torx screw holding the mirror to the windshield and pulling of two trim pieces). Due to this being in a convertible, I did install it slightly different that was suggested. I used an Add-a-fuse to connect into an ignition switched power supply and crimped both power lines (one for Homelink and one for Auto-dimming/Compass) into the Add-a-fuse. This keeps the Homelink inactive unless the ignition is turned on so nobody can access my home if I park outside and they get through the top.
