I was excited to try this sharpener as it had several sizes and was small enough for my pouch. The first hole is so small, no lead pencil, nor various brands of colored pencil fit. When I tried to sharpen with any of the other 3 sizes, it turned the core into a screw with no point. I do not recommend. 2 stars because it is small enough for a pouch, arrived in a day, and I like the clarity of the sharpener.

This sharpener leaves a very long exposure but never sharpens the very tip of the pencils ... so it does not much suit my need for the art pencils but is good for makeup pencils.

Does the job if the pencil wood is of good quality. If not, the lead will break. My biggest complaint is that the lid comes off to easily while sharpening.

It doesn’t look like the photo at all, I sharpened my pencil and this is how it looks…it’s not pointy at all and if I want it pointy I have to sharpen it in the smallest one to get the sharp point. The first picture is by just sharpening on the once the the 2nd picture is by sharpening it with the smallest one after. Over all not what it promised

This has been the best pencil sharpener I have found for drawing pencils. It creates the best points better than and safer than a knife. Plus you get 2!
