Love This Best Friend's Little Sister Romance
WOW! I absolutely loved One More Kiss, the first story in The Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run series! I could not put it down. I loved every page. Samantha Chase has once again proven that she is an incredible story teller. She definitely did not disappoint with One More Kiss and has once again delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I enjoy in love stories. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families and friends, who always support one another, and wonderful characters? Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. I love that she writes her stories from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. I love the lighter moments in the stories, where I found myself smiling and laughing. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. One More Kiss is filled with such moments and with everything that I have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments, and the surprise plot twists that filled this page turner. One More Kiss, is the story of Matt Reed leaves New York to avoid all the media coverage from his Broadway flop, and falls in love with his best friend’s little sister, Vivienne Forrester, an editor for an online magazine. When the Shaughnessy Brothers take a hiatus, Matt Reed decides to give Broadway a try and it leads to an epic failure. To avoid all the negative media coverage, he decides to head home to North Carolina and stay at the house of his best friend Aaron. Aaron and Matt move Vivienne into the guest house on Aaron’s property. Matt thinks that has not seen Vivienne in quite a while, he does not remember seeing her two years ago, following the last Shaughnessy Brothers concert, Aaron heads to London on a business trip and leaves Matt alone in his house. Vivienne takes it upon herself that Matt is fed. While Vivienne and Matt spend more time with one another, things change between them. Vivienne is upset the Matt never mentions their kiss from two years ago, but when they kiss again, Matt remembers something. As Vivienne and Matt spend more time together, they each share secrets with one another that they have never told anyone before. I love the emotionally charged dialogue that occurs between Vivienne and Matt. I love when Vivienne gets real with Matt about her true feelings for him and opens up to him. A surprise plot twist happens and this changes things between them. I love how Vivienne and Matt show their vulnerable sides. I love Aaron’s reaction to Matt dating his little sister, while a guest in his home. I love the both Vivienne and Matt’s relationship changes with their parents. I love that because of Vivienne’s love and support that Matt was able to change and realize that he can have a relationship with his father, even though their past relationship was very volatile. I love that Vivienne’s relationship with her mother changed, because of Aaron’s encouragement. Highly recommend this beautifully written story. I truly love how all the epilogue goes above and beyond the happily ever after. Highly recommend this best friend’s little sister love story.

5 ROCK STARS!!!!
5 Rock Stars!!!! Samantha Chase sure knows how to write romance! I love her style so much. From the beginning she welcomes you into her stories so that you become completely invested in her characters' lives and because of the wonderful character development she provides you can't wait to find out what happens next. This book is just like that. It is a new series and spinoff of the Shaughnessy series and is about lead guitarist, Matty (Matt) Reed and Vivienne Forrester. The guys in the band have all gone their separate ways to embark on solo projects and Matt's was performing in a Broadway show. Unfortunately, this did not go well for him at all. He gets some horrible reviews and wants to get away so he hides from the scrutiny of the public at his friend Aaron's house back in a secluded part of his hometown. It is there where he meets back up with Vivienne, Aaron's sister. They have known each other since they were kids but he was always Aaron's friend. She lives on Aaron's property now in her own cottage and it isn't long before their attraction can't be denied. They spend time together and become friends first and find that they have a lot in common and have amazing chemistry. They also feel an intense attraction to each other that won't be denied for long. They finally share a kiss and it brings back a memory for Matt, that prior to this kiss, he wasn't even sure had really happened 2 years prior. They had kissed in his dressing room after one of the band's shows but he was really under the influence but he thought it had been a fantasy. Vivienne remembers it vividly and she thought she just was not worth remembering to him. This was so not true. She is everything Matt has ever wanted and needed. They are a fantastic couple! I love them for each other!! They both had some family issues from their past to work through but being together and there for each other seemed to help them start to get there.I was also happy to get more Riley and Savannah as well.I highly recommend this book. It is an awesome debut to this new series!!

Enjoyed this one!
This book is the first in the Band on the Run series, a spinoff from the series about the Shaughnessy brothers. The band is taking a break and all four members are trying out solo projects. Matt tried performing in a Broadway play. It turned out to be such a failure that it closed after 3 days. Now, the media is stalking and vilifying him, and he's been hiding out in his Manhattan lodgings, smarting and full of self-pity. When things escalate to the point that the media is now insinuating that not only Matt but the entire band has no talent and were faking it, Matt's agent suggests he leave town while damage control is done to salvage the band's reputation. Matt secretly leaves town to isolate himself in a house on the secluded property of a longtime good friend Aaron in his hometown. Aaron has a younger sister named Vivienne whom Matt's known most of his life. Two years earlier she visited him backstage after a concert and they shared a hot kiss -- which, later, Matt doesn't remember. Vivienne is moving into a guest house on her brother's property. She isn't happy to see Matt again due to embarrassment and humiliation over the concert incident (Matt's agent came in during the kiss and had her escorted out by security). Aaron's off to London for a month on business and Matt and Vivienne are alone on the property. The former chemistry between them is still there, and gradually they enter a tentative relationship. (Matt remembers the first kiss after they share a second kiss.) Matt (who admits he was selfish and arrogant) begins to reevaluate his life and priorities. Vivienne is the perfect woman to help him move forward in this process. Transitioning from who he is to who he wants to be includes coming to terms with his horrendous childhood and facing the ghosts of his past.

Music and Romance
Five Amazing StarsI have been just so excited and I was thrilled to read this amazing and brand new series, Band on The Run. This new fabulous romantic story. Written by one of my all time favourite authors, Samantha Chase. I have so thoroughly enjoyed to continue this newest series followed on by the most wonderful series, The Shaughnessy Brothers. Focused now on the future of Matt Reed, in his furthermusical business life.Matthew Reed is suffering after the loss of his group. He has been tormented after his failed final concert, that couldn't last more than the three days. Now he felt tormented, and disappointed mostly about himself. With critics now just destroying any chance for a come back. His only chance now is to come back to the Carolinas. And stay at close friends house. Aaron who pleaded with him. He needed somewhere private, his previous home. Matt now had to prove to himself and to others that this was not the end. When it came to Vivienne Forrester, who worked as a blogger and writer and assisted work at a magazine and was asked To write about Matt Reed and his future.Such an amazing book this was. So full of love, hope. Such a wonderful romance between Matt and Vivienne. I just can't wait for book two now as well
