They are okay
I like that these come in 25 MG, but I won't be purchasing any more after these. I found a different brand that has less additives.

Contains a inflammatory seed oil
I used a different brand when living in Germany and it worked great. Now I'm back in the States and I thought I would continue to buy a German product so I tried this one. Two problems, the first is that it has canola oil in it. Canola oil is inflammatory. The second is all I want to do is sleep when I take it. The other zinc I was taken would actually make me more alert.

Good product - recommended!
I take a Zinc supplement daily and have done for years. It is supposedly a key element to combat colds, boosting the immune system and is highly endorsed by my doctor. I do not know how well it works as there's some element of faith in any supplement, but I honestly haven't had a cold or immune-related illness in several years and I believe the Zinc has played a part in my health regimen.I have not tried this form of zinc before. Looking into it, Zinc Bisglycinate has slightly better absorption compared with Zinc Picolinate, though Zinc Picolinate has a longer history of use as a supplement and as such, has been the subject of more clinical studies. From my research, in one study, 12 healthy women were given single doses of Zinc Bisglycinate, Zinc Picolinate, Zinc Gluconate, or Zinc Oxide. With blood levels tested every hour for four hours, Zinc Bisglycinate resulted in the highest plasma zinc levels. In addition, zinc in red blood cells (RBC) was measured over the same 4-hour period. At the end of the study, RBC levels of zinc were in the following order from highest to lowest: Zinc Bisglycinate > Zinc Picolinate > Zinc Gluconate > Zinc Oxide.I believe this product can be trusted. It is from Germany and all CLAV products are manufactured according to strict guidelines in line with HACCP, GMP and ISO 9001 quality standards. There are many sources I do not trust! This product is also pretty good value at $23 for a 6-month supply.CONCLUSION:I have no problem recommending this Zinc supplement.
