Bulldog Security Alarm with 2 Wire Hook Up with Mini Tool Box (fs)

This is a great little product. Simple to install and hook up - just find a place to mount it, and clip it to your battery posts and you're done. I found that putting your hand firmly over the output to muffle the "initialization" beeps muffles it effectively - it's pretty loud otherwise. I put mine in my TJ. I mounted it using a piece of pipe strap screwed using the case screws (took it apart - warranty voided), then a couple of zip-ties to the longitudinal bars. Ran the antenna line back along the bar and zip-tied it too. Then connected it up. It's very loud and prominent. Controller works nice even under the hood. It's a bit sensitive at the stock setting I've found (heavy rain can set it off), but that is adjustable. All in all, a cheap but effective car alarm that covers the basics.

Cheap generic alarm! EVEN on MOST sensitive settings it MUST be triggered TWICE to go OFF!!

It's a very simple, very cheap alarm. It's nothing special or amazing, but its more than I would expect for under $20. I love that it does not tie into my car directly, I prefer to leave my doors unlocked and alarm on. I'd rather somebody open a door to set off the alarm than break a window. Opening a door and running away because of an alarm costs nothing. Breaking a window and running away because of an alarm costs $400. Trust me.

Not very loud I would give it a negative score of about 2.5 simple yes, easy hook up yes, touchy yes, loud HELL NO I CANT HEAR IT AND I AM OUTSIDE WITH IT ON I SHOULD KNOW BETTER I ONLY HAVE THREE OF THESE STUPID THINGS !!!!!!!
