Kids Shopkeeper Costume

My kids love pretending to be posties and I loved the look of this fabric set. When it arrived, I was pleased to see that some of the letters had velcro fastenings, so you can actually put real paper/objects inside them to 'post'. However, one of the letters already has some stitching coming undone, and another one has some slight fraying around the fabric address label. In addition, the postbag is made of quite flimsy material and the strap isn't terribly good either - again, it has a velcro fastening. A lovely idea, but lacks a quality finish.

I am disappointed to say the quality was not great on this set. I expected each piece to be made from felt (as stated in the description). In fact the bag and two letters (pink and white) are made from thin cotton-like material with a very lightweight piece of foam inside the letters, which are sealed by just a piece of velcro so my youngest keeps ripping them open! The two parcels (the brown ones) are actually ok quality as they are sturdier and made from felt and they are completely sewn up with no Velcro opening, but the rest of the set unfortunately lets it down. I’m in two minds about sending back as there seems to be virtually no post or mail sets like this available.

This greengrocers coat is just perfect. My grandchildren just love wearing it. When they arrive at my house this is the first thing that they go to. A brilliant idea.

Got this for my 4 year old little girl ... and it's lovely well made and defently worth £12You get 4 parcles in the red postman bag 2 that are in a shape of an envelope that can be opend and can put things in it. Other 2 are bigger and are just parcles shaped and can't be opend.Got it as a Christmas present am sure she will have loads funDefently reccomend to buy.
