Delta Faucet RP31558CZ Tub Drain, Champagne Bronze, 1.5 inches

I should’ve read more of the reviews before I purchased. I had a professional plumber redo my bathroom. The drain went in without a problem but every time we tried to push the drain down it would not stay down or seal. After playing with it for about an hour, the plumber disassembled it to take a look and realized that all the threads on the inside were stripped. Because I had company coming over, I ran to the hardware store and purchased a universal pop-up drain for $5.99 and sprayed it with an antique brass spray paint. It looks beautiful surprisingly and it fit like a charm. Definitely a waste of $70. Unfortunately, because Remodels can take a while, I was past the return date. Not happy.

Replacing a Chinese brand champagne drain that was a color match but was annoying to use as you press on 1 side to open and the other to lock down. Somehow I always press the wrong side when closing (It spins around so it's not always the same side), but my kids could always accidentally unclick it and the water starts draining.This one works as advertised. Fit my 1 3/4" drain perfectly. The white part at the bottom is adjustable so the amount it travels down to seal is adjustable to your drain. This shows way less water spots than the cheap one, and after a couple nights my kids haven't accidentally unclicked it.

We have had great luck with using this product on new construction homes! Good quality and solid parts and pieces. Love Delta anything!

Just doesn't work. Waste of money. Bought it to match the rest of my Delta shower, which looks and functions superbly. Delta is typically great quality for the price. This is an exception for sure.I have taken it apart and put it back together again in an effort to fix, but still doesn't seal, or gets stuck in the down or up position. The design seems to be inherently flawed. Avoid.

The install is easy, and the operation to plug the tub should technically be easy, by pushing to close and open. From what I can tell is that the rubber gasket flips "down" in order to form a seal around the drain. After pressing down the plug again to open, the rubber gasket flips up to allow water to drain. Fortunately we typically only take showers versus baths, so the need to fill up the tub is few and far between, but time will tell if the tub plug continues to function properly in the years to come.

Installed this after a remodel of bathroom and needed this to match the gold lahara hardware. It doesn't work after professionally installed. Took awhile to install because of remodel and now the return time has passed.Very frustrated

I love how easy it is to use, and how simple it is to unscrew to clean out the long hair that will get stuck in it. Even better, it's both practical and beautiful! The color is so pretty.

My contractor didn’t get around to installing this till after the month had gone by so couldn’t return it... assumed all tub drains were standard size but this wouldn’t fit... too tall!! Who knew... my old tub drain only 1 inch high... this one inch and half!! Expensive lesson.... so measure ur diameter and height of existing drain before u buy... never used this drain but beautiful

Matched all my other Delta products

Same experience as many others. This plug doesn’t hold water. Just got my brand new replacement directly from Delta and while rubber gasket seems to fall into the right position now, the water still leaks out. Of course I’m was also post reno and it was too late to return. I’d second those who say not to buy this series.

I'm on my second one of these and need to order another one from warrantee. When my toddle spins it it stop making a seal. Do not buy this product.
