Pays for positive reviews
Another product that sends an email to purchasers, offering a $20 Amazon gift card for a positive review. Hmm, no wonder such positive reviews! Also, it is deceptive. I previously bought a Lintelek fitness tracker on Amazon. Same technical problem as this one. Doesn’t fit properly into a USB port, and so often won’t charge. Funny thing is, this exact same tracker appears to be sold on Amazon using different company names. I will not buy any that look exactly like this one, because, clearly, it is the same product. The instruction booklet is the same one that came with the Linetek. Buyers beware.

Good for what I use it for
If you need something to tell you your daily steps, heart rate, and distance, go for it. That is all I use it for. I downloaded the VeryFit App and deleted it because I don't use it and the stupid notifications would NOT go away even after tinkering with the settings. All I need to see is the numbers on my wrist anyway so it wasn't a big deal. If you want all the pizzazz and connectivity of the Fit Bit then do that instead. I personally don't care about competing in step challenges with friends anymore, because they cheated anyway. Seriously who does that. If you want to shake your wrist like a psychopath and look like you're jerking off ghosts all day just to bypass my actual walking distance then go for it. For me this is a great price point for a nice little pedometer. Also I love the fact there is no extra cord. I just pop off the wrist band and stick the dongle in the wall port. I'm a big fan of minimizing the amount of cords I need to chase around in my life.

This is a really great value!
I like that this works exactly like my prior fitbit worked for 1/5 the price. I lost a fitbit in my sister's pool and purchased another one. It stopped accurately tracking my sleep and then battery stopped charging after 2 years and I just didn't see myself spending over $100 again. This tracker is pretty accurate as I've compared the heart rate monitor reading to the the reading the nurse got when I went to two medical appointments and it was extremely close. It tracks sleep pretty accurately in my opinion. And the battery life is about one week which is excellent in my opinion. The warranty company is also very responsive. I originally purchased this in the pink color band but after wearing it for a few weeks the band looked dingy and it didn't clean off with alcohol. I emailed the warranty company and they sent me a black band within 5 days for free. The only negative is that the app for the tracker isn't recognized by my fitness pal which I use to track my meals and workouts. It's a minor inconvenience to manually enter my steps and calories burned from the tracker to the fitness pal app. Hopefully in the future it's added to my fitness pal but if not this is still a good purchase. I would buy this again for myself or to gift it to someone. It looks just as nice as my similar fitbit which retailed for over $100.

What I Was Looking For
A friend gave me a fitness tracker like this a while back and I loved it as I am a walker. It was very simple to use and did what I wanted it to do. It eventually wore out; I order - what I thought was - something like it. It wasn't the same and confusing to use, so I found this one on Amazon and ordered it right away. It's just what I wanted and connects to the the VeryFitPro App I used before!

"Heart rate monitor" not useful
The claimed "heart rate monitor" apparently doesn't do anything useful. I bought this primarily to be able to monitor my heart rate while walking. I was disappointed to not see a screen that actively tracked heart rate. I went for a walk, and while walking, switched to the heart measurement screen, which I already knew would update for while, but hadn't tested how long. It takes a while before showing a heart rate, so I walked on. When I checked again, the screen had shut off. No record of the measurement. It should vibrate when "the data is detected" and displayed. Nope. I thought I could check my history on the "details" graph, but nope. It only shows resting. The step count was good: my phone told me 797 steps, the watch told me 796. Obviously less than 15 minutes exercise, which the instruction booklet said someplace wouldn't count. Not sure towards what it wouldn't count, but since heart rate isn't counting anyway, does it matter? Kcals are reported on the "details" chart. Maybe they're using heart rate to calculate that, but I suspect it is calculated from steps (for walking). The vibrations for notifications are nice. I mute notifications on the phone, since to have them loud enough to hear frightens children and small animals and startles my wife. Walking with the phone in my pocket, or sitting with the phone next to me, I don't or can't notice vibrations, so getting them on the watch is almost worth the price of the watch. But I still need a useful heart rate monitor. I'm an old guy with diabetes and leukemia, so exercising sufficiently, without overexerting on hills or long stairways, seems important. My phone app isn't helpful, because while it is great for step counting, it stops counting heart points (based on pace) if I pause too long to take pictures or watch birds or avoid crossing a street out in front of traffic. I know my heart rate doesn't drop out of the target range in those pauses. Sometimes I come back from walking with zero heart points, but nice pictures. Sometimes I come back with 16 heart points and no pictures. It seems like other watches I looked at vibrated for notifications, while also putting heart rate on the screen. So there's really no need to keep this. It's kind of nice, though, if it does what you need. Though removing the strap (clumsily) every time it needs charging doesn't bode well for extended strap life.

A bit misleading.
There are only 3 modes, not 14. Step counter seems kind of accurate (which is what I mainly wanted it for). The app has been found to have some alarming security issues that may reveal your sensitive data, so I deleted it and am just using it as a watch and pedometer. The heart rate monitor is a nice feature too, just not sure how accurate it is. Perhaps good for the price, I just can't use a majority of its features, especially the ones that don't exist.
