This is the best replacement I've found for my Pebble HR
I loved my Pebble HR watch and have been looking for a replacement for quite a while. This Garmin watch isn't as good IMO, but it checks all the boxes and adds a thermometer, barometer, GPS and Pulse OX. So I'm pretty happy with it. Everyone has different priorities. So the first four features are the specific features that I found hard to find in a good combo with other watches.1. Transflective display. It will never be even close to as pretty as the bright LED and OLED displays on other watches. But you can see the display easily in all but the dimmest light without having to do anything other than look at it. No movement, touch or button press is needed. Also, this is the easiest kind of display to read in bright sunlight. The brighter the light, the clearer the display gets. Super nice for us3e outside.2. Battery last over two days. Not as good as the Pebble or my Amazfit Bip, but it is good enough and manages it without being big and bulky.3. Canned text reply. Super nice to have. I can make quick replies to texts without going to my phone. Not as easy to use as the Pebble, but still good to have.4. Can review texts, read emails and also can review calendar events for the day. Not as good as the Pebble Timeline, but at least it partially fills that use.You can custom configure the watch to suit your personal preferences with a variety of watchfaces, apps. and gadgets. Presumably many other watches can do this. But my Amazfit watches only had custom watchfaces. No custom apps.So this watch covers the main bases I wanted that the Pebble covered so well and it adds other features to boot. So I'm pretty happy with it. It is super functional and reasonably priced. But buy this watch only if you are OK with a display that is highly functional, but not brilliantly pretty.

Love the Garmin
The Garmin vivoactive 4 was too big for wrist. It was a beautiful smartwatch but keep shifting and created raw spot on my wrist. So I bought the vivoactive 4s renewed. It is perfect. It is light, easy to install, and doesn't shift at all on my wrist. At this point, I see no difference in the two watches. I thought the print was going to be too small but it is not.

Great fit and finish; crappy battery life
I bought this to replace my Vivoactive 3 due to smaller size, more features, etc. It looks and feels great. But the battery life sucks! I charged it this morning, no vigorous activities, and it's already down 6%. By bedtime, I expect it to be down to 90%. That's 10% a day without vigorous activity. I'm going to keep it, because I got it at a great price, and the reviews for a brand new one indicate battery life isn't all that great either. Other than battery llfe, I really like it. I've set it up for limited backlight, and I don't have a lot of widgets. I only have 2 faces installed, but I customized them with colorful display, and the weather widget uses GPS, so that culd contribute to the shorter battery life.

Useful and Satisfied
I got my vivoactive 4s as a gift, all i can say is i was satisfied with the watch, i use it everyday, for my morning workout, for 2x a week morning run. And im loving it. I didn’t explore yet all the features of the watch but every single day i learn new things about it. The watch perfectly fit to my wrist and i like it so much. I was motivated to beat every single day my personal record. It was fun actually, even sometime i don’t want to do workout but because i want to beat my records i just do it. Hahaha. I also love that i can change the watch bond,.💕

Don't buy refurbished - broke when I went swimming
Avoid the refurbished version. I had a new Vivoactive 4S before this and it was perfect (and swam with it regularly). I unfortunately lost it so figured I'd save some cash with the refurbished version, but today I went swimming with it for the first time and it froze up and then was failing to turn on and now it's still messed up (wouldn't ever find GPS signal).

Completely Died after 6 months
I purchased this as my teenage daughters "big" Christmas gift as it is a smaller watch face with music control functions. The watch simply stopped working completely the day after a full charge about 6 months into owning it, which was my biggest fear when purchasing a refurbished watch. Purchasing refurbished wasn't worth it - don't risk it! (I also own a Garmin watch that i purchased brand new, no issues with it at all four years in).

Best exercise watch I've had so far!
I've had Fitbit, amazefit, and samsung. This watch is better. It has a bit of a learning curve coming from a Fitbit but it is so worth it. Tracks very accurately. Step counts are very accurate. The software is great and has way more features than I use but can easily be adapted to bring what one uses to the front screens. Many watch faces to customize and view the data that is important to me. So far has been very durable and the battery last many days.

Not what I thought.
Not what I thought. Much smaller face than I expected, however, that’s not actually bad when in the gym or running. Weighs next to nothing and is very comfortable.
