I am 5'0", normally a size 4-6. This size S dress fit perfectly and was great for a summer wedding guest dress. The dress is lined, but not too hot for an outdoor event. The fabric belt is not attached, but easily attached with a pin or a stitch, if needed. The fabric is lightweight and can be folded in a suitcase and still have no wrinkles!I also bought the dress in a lighter blue, size S, but it ran bigger (in the region from the shoulders to the waist--too large for a petite size) than the darker blue one, so great dress, but may vary a bit in size.

What a perfect dress! I needed a fast black dress for a summer funeral and I chose this due to the fast delivery to the US while flying there from Australia. I was a tad reluctant because I’m not a ruffle dress kinda gal but it’s very subtle in black and a very flattering dress on my size1X 63-yo body. The XXL fits me well with some room to spare and the slip underneath is much longer than what the photo would have you believe, which I’m thankful for the length as my legs swell ridiculously when I fly and this dress will cover that for me. I will wear this for other occasions as well, dinners out, etc. Just a very pretty dress that you’ll appreciate! Seams are sturdy, the fabric is nice, the belt is a good length. It’s a bit of an empire waist as opposed to my true waist but it looks fantastic regardless. It comes with an extra snap set if you need it. The existing snap at the cleavage is just right for me but you could sew on the other if you want more coverage if you’re very busty.

This is a darling dress. I love the sheer Swiss dot overlay - it's the perfect LBD for summer. I have a short torso and long legs. The dress looks like an empire waist on me, which was unexpected but lovely. I was surprised when I sat down - the snap popped open! So it's a perfect fit when standing but the snap is at an odd location - something I don't mind fixing myself.On an odd note- my dress was clearly worn and not washed. It stunk SO BADLY of BO! If I didn't need this dress immediately, I'd have returned it. Amazon- do better at inspecting returned garments. This should have had a small discount to account for the problems just like hard goods do.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed a black dress for my father’s funeral and no time to shop. Ordered several options and this one was great. The fit is true to size, fabric is lightweight and flowy. I wore it for almost 18 hours and it was very comfortable. Also liked snap on the v neck to keep front cross over material in place and closed. I washed it using delicate cycle and it washed up well air dried and no wrinkles. Right back into closet. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm 6ft tall, 34A bust, 27" waist, 37" hips. Ordered a Small for a funeral service last week.It showed up too late so I returned, however, it was huge all over.I liked the flowy material with the Swiss dot layer, but very big!If you have a very petite frame, this may not be for you unless that's the look you're going for. If it had shown in time, I would have had to have about 2-3 inches taken in at bust, waist and all over.It fell mid calf on me, just like the model. That part was great!Very pretty but way too big.

Lovely summer dress that is versatile. From wedding to funeral to out to dinner with friends.Fit was perfect. I am curvy and it draped nicely around my hips. A bit big up top but not overwhelmingly. Nicely lined with solid color. Fabric not stretchy but enough room when sitting down. Elastic waist and can wear with or without provided fabric belt as there are no belt loops so belt does move around but no big deal. Could also use a different belt. Black and white print subtle enough and good for hiding any imperfections/rolls etc. Made me look pretty darn good!!! 5’7” 230# XXL.

High quality, very comfortable, and very flattering. I love everything about this dress. I purchased this to wear to a funeral. My under slip on the dress is longer than shown in the photo, which I appreciate the longer length. I had no idea I could get such good quality at this price point. When I ordered this early Sunday morning, the system indicated same day delivery (which is why I ordered it). After placing the order, the system said I could not get it until the next morning. I was stressing because I ordered it to wear the next day, Monday, at an 11am funeral. I work in healthcare and tend to compartmentalize and do things as needed. I got really lucky because the dress came at 8:45am. I doubt Amazon will see this but it’s no good if your system tells me I can get something same day and then after submitting the order I’m told next day. I got lucky today but was definitely sweating it.

I was really pleasantly surprised with the fabric on this- soft, light, cool, not what you would expect by the look. Incredibly comfortable. I have a stomach so it looks a bit like a maternity dress on me but not the dresses fault haha. Love the button closure at the next line. I wish the waist ribbon were a bit wider- looks a little flimsy when I tie it around, but still improves the look overall. Pretty dress. Might order in another color.
