How many blasts before it is all used up?

This particular one is our smallest can and really is recommended for an emergency use or one to two time use. This is a small handheld horn. Hope that helps and thank you for your interest in Better Boat.

Since it is 2 piece assembly, is there a chance the horn could fall off the can from bumping while mountian biking?

it just snaps on so it may fall off. Also the can is really small so there is only enough compressing for a few blasts of the horn

What is the shelf life for these horns? How soon should they be replaced for new? Emergency gear packs.
