Great vacuum. Even gets rocks off the bottom. But the line twists up real bad . It’s supposed to be tangle free but it does twist up. It climbs the walls and does a great job and I like the line because a battery operated vac will quit at the bottom of the 8 ft deep end and you’ll have to swim down get it

The robot itself is decent in its job to clean the pool, but suffers from a poor cable design. It is advertised as a "tangle-free" cable but just look at the photos after an hour into the cleaning cycle! There is no swivel attachment provided at either end and the cable is bound to tangle. This essentially made this device useless, as the 50 ft advertised range quickly got restricted to a just a few feet of motion. It is so cumbersome trying to untangle the cable every hour. We buy these expensive gadgets for the convenience and expect to plugin and walk away rather than to babysit them. Very disappointed and will be returning the unit.UPDATE June 7, 2022 - I have been using Aquabot X4 Since Dec 2021 and have been very pleased with it. It is truly "tangle-free" and does a great job cleaning fine debris.

Received the SLPORBT18 pool cleaner last week. Very easy to set up. Reopened the pool just to see how it works. Much lighter than previous pool cleaner but I was impressed by the job it did. Two filters did a great job capturing even the smallest debris. Also, top loading makes clean out simple and easy. As for tangled chords, still an issue but I had this issue with the previous robot as well. I have grown used to untangling it ever couple of weeks. Overall, impressed with unit but with the caveat I have only used it once.

Works fine cleaning the pool. The only problem I have is the cord gets all tangled have to keep an eye on it.

Arrived as described and looks like it is going to be a GREAT POOL CLEANER!!!!

Tried to be nice about this cleaner since it is well priced but this is the 3rd one of them and not one of them has gotten past 7 months. The first failed and I contacted the supplier and after debug they sent a replacement. That one lasted even less time. I bought a third because it was cheap at the time on amazon and I figured if it fails within the warranty period I will get another one. But this time they want me to ship the failed unit on my dollar and also pay for shipment of replacement. They dont even want to do a debug on site over video which would save a shipping cost on my end - they just figure whos going to pay shipping costs on a cleaner they can replace with a new model for $300-$400. What's more they wont even give me an idea of cost of shipping but its heavy. So much for standing by their product. Oh and BTW - the damn thing has wire tangles every time you use it which is annoying and time consuming. Find another cleaner - these things just don't last

I loved this robot--simple to use and does a great job cleaning my pool. Great customer service from the company!! A+ rating!! My robot stopped working- contacted the company via email and they responded the next day--i shipped the item back to them and a replacement was sent a few days later!

Do yourself a favor and avoid this robot. Go with Dolphin or another we’ll established brand. There are 3 main problems with this unit. 1) As many others have noted (I wish I read the reviews before buying) this is not tangle free. The cord gets badly tangled on every use. It’s a real problem! 2) the baskets are difficult to get out after only using 2-3 times. 3) The plastic suction blockers (not sure what they are actually called) at the bottom of the unit fell off after 2-3 sessions. These seem to help force debris into the baskets and help with suction. Well they fell off and can’t be reinstalled so the robot became totally useless. 4) I’ll add one more issue - serenelife isn’t a company that makes robots or pool equipment. No support, no replacement parts, seems like they tried to create a dolphin like robot with many of the same components but lack of experience caused them to miss some important pieces.
