This is a super cute placemat with a built in bowl. I have a 17 months old who is learning to sit at the table in her booster chair. I thought this would be perfect since it's supposed to stick to any surface. Nope, it sticks to absolutely nothing. I even thought maybe if I wash it in the dishwasher it might stick a little better. That didn't work either. Now when she eats with it I find myself having one hand on the placemat so she doesn't throw all of her food on the floor all while trying to eat as well. In theory this is an amazing product, but sadly it did not meet my high expectations. I think this would be great for 5-6 year old who is past the stage of throwing their plates/bowls on the floor, but not good for toddlers.

This is a flexible silicone placemat. It is deep enough for a bowl of cereal for my 4 year old. She love this! It stays on the table well. The placemat is not slippery, stays in place well, but easily picked up by my 1 year old. If you are trying to pick up from the hippo part it doesn’t move, if you grab the sides, easily removable.The description stated it was dishwasher safe, I put them on the bottom shelf and they held up perfectly.We have this and the mermaid and my girls love them so much, I am planning on buying more.

It definitely sticks regally well to the table for me and isn’t so easy to removed as the suction Bowls that munchkin brand sells. I love this placemat and recommend if for toddlers and or self feeding babies. It feels like great quality and easy to wash.

well I purchased this for the sole reason that it suctions to the table. not the case - my lil one figured it out in two seconds that it can be picked up by the corners.not sure if I would recommend this product.

I love this placemat! We weren't able to use any bowls as our little sweetheart just emptied them and tossed them off her tray. The integrated bowl is low enough for her to see what is inside, and the mat is heavy enough that she doesn't try to pick it up and throw it. I may order a second one for our diaper bag!

Shipped @ received quickly. Item was as pictured and does was it was advertised to do.This mat and dish are one item and do fit nicely on a high chair tray and do "stick" to the tray(or a flat surface) so they cannot be "picked up and tossed". Cute idea for a toddler at meal time.

Smaller than i thought but perfect size for toddlers. Super cute design... brings fun to a simple meal. My daughter finally put food straight to her mouth and not throwing and playing around with it. Love it!

the baby plate tray in the picture is purple and the one that arrived is soft pink. I like the product, is a bit small but it's fine. I wish it was the color that I was expecting.
