Pure Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Powder 24 Grams

This product has made a PHENOMINAL improvement in my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's pain management AND activity. I have a 4 year old dog, who is highly symptomatic with objective signs for Syringomyelia with Chiari malformation (spinal cord is too big for the skull opening leading to lesions on the spinal cord which can lead to paralysis and ultimately euthanasia). I read online about the possibility of good results in reducing her pain and inflammation thus leading to an improvement in her activity level on a Cavalier health website using the Palmitoylethanolamide as an additive to her diet. A trial conducted on 12 dogs in Europe in 2011 used approx 30 mg/kg of body weight. This powdered product has 570 mg in a quarter tsp. and I mixed a quarter cup of coconut oil with 3 X 1/4 tsp of powder in a small mason jar. We give her a full teaspoon of the mixture morning and night and a double recipe lasts 12 days. About 5 days after we introduced this in her kibble, she ran into the house from outside and leaped up onto the couch. She hadn't done this in 6 months(either the running or the leaping!). We are now at 23 DAYS since beginning use of Palmitoylethanolamide powder and it is like having a young dog again. She gets up and eagerly follows me through the office everyday and stands at the car window with her ears flipping in the wind both of which had been eliminated because of her constant pain. .Also, no more involuntary yips and slow methodical gait as she walks. We are hopeful we can keep her from the typical drug protocol of gabapentin, carbrofen and Prilosec.

Although it doesn't say micronized, the company assures me it still it. The last two orders I made worked but they still said micronized, so I can't tell you if it still works the same.I put a lower than 5 star rating because the last two times I tried to get it they were out and I had to go to another company to get it in time to stop the pain without running out.

Not as effective as I had hoped. At 1200mg/daily I've seen very little improvement in joint pain in my knees, back and hip. Studies have shown that 1200 mg makes a difference in neuropathic pain so maybe that's true - for joint pain, too expensive to continue the experiment with no results so far. Have been on PEA for a solid month.

I highly recommend this, it took a couple weeks to get the full benefits but it seems to be helping my joint pain and neuropathy from lymes. I love that it has no side effects or drug interactions, and is natural, so sick of pharmaceuticals. Also it seems to have helped with my brain fog symptoms too as a bonus!

i have tried upping the dosage, still no effect, no pain relief. i will go back to moringa which is what i was taking before this, i thought this may work better but as far as inflammatory pain relief moringa has helped me the most. i use vitalize source brand.

This stuff really works for chronic pain. I highly recommend anyone contemplating trying it to give it a go for at least a month to see if it works for you.
