Unlike the smoked oysters you find in your local grocery store, these oysters are not grown in China, but rather the USA. Ekone, is one of the largest independent oyster farmers and is based on the Willapa Bay in Southwest Washington, near the mouth of the Columbia River. The Willapa is the cleanest bay in the United States. These oysters are a truly unique, boutique oyster. They are grown, harvested, smoked and canned by Ekone in their Bay Center facility. There are no machines everything is done by hand, from the harvesting to the shuking to the smoking. All natural, and in most cases organic products are used to flavor the oysters. There are no preservatives or added chemicals. They are grown, smoked and canned in a way that is healthy and pure. Ekone oysters are larger and more flavorful than the commodity, grocery store brands grown in China. They make an elegant and unique addition to any snack, meal, party or event. Ekone Smoked Oysters from the Willapa Bay are a local, gourmet, healthy, and sustainable choice.

The best quality
Love all their oysters. Favorites are the Lemon Pepper. I like that there isn’t a lot of oil, the oysters are large, aren’t too salty and farmed and canned in the USA. Will buy over and over again.

Terrific.
Terrific. Raised in America, unlike all the other brands I have seen. I do not trust the Chinese farming method - under the chicken coop.

Value
Good but over priced. Just as good at super market for half the price.

Enjoyed them more than steamed oysters
Delicious. I’ve never liked the supermarket Chinese oysters. I read a review that explained why. Made in the USA and tastes exactly as it should.

Excellent oysters with great unique flavor
Excellent oysters with great unique flavor. I serve chilled right out of can with fresh baguette and softened butter but the oysters can certainly stand alone as well

Just OK.
I'm no oyster expert. I was just looking for a good source of omega 3's. While edible, I found these a little tough and without much flavor.
