Bought this as I've gotten tired of seasoning the cast iron grate in my Akorn Jr. With cast iron, high temps burn off the oil...I like to have heat 600-700 degrees for searing steaks and making pizza on the grill so this is perfect for me. Grate is heavy duty and hasn't warped.

I put this in my storage building to keep it out of the weather. I purchased this for a backup. I took a look at it last week and the product rusted and I have never used it. I would say poor quality stainless steel.

Has served me well over the past year. I grill directly on it and also use it in the smoker. I have cleaned the grates regularly between uses and cleans very easily, much easier than the oe plated grate. No rust whatsoever even though apple cider vinegar has been in contact while making ribs. Grates have seen temps from 160 when smoking fish up to 900 when searing steak directly over fire. No warping, no broken welds, not even discoloration. Very happy with it. Fitment is great but slightly larger than the standard Weber grate. I'm very picky with cooking equipment and this has left me very satisfied. Will be purchasing another to add another layer to the smoker.
