Epoint EGC1B01-03 Multi Mens Paisley Waistcoat Woven Microfiber S-5XL Vest

This vest is so wrong in the sizing that it's laughable. I wear a XXL t-shirt and a button-down shirt as well. Pretty much everything in a 2XL fits me just fine. I heard this vest runs small so I ordered the XXXL vest instead, thinking if it was baggy I could tighten it up in the back. Even by the measurements from the manufacturer this seemed like it would be a little on the larger size. Well, I guess the tape measure they used is from a different planet or something. Not only was this item small, but it was about 3 sizes too small. When I put this on, the gap between the buttons and button holes is about 3 inches. Seriously, this 3X vest is more like a large in any shirt size. Beware...order MANY sizes larger than you think you need or if you are going by their measuring chart.

I usually wear XL vests, and I have several from Kohls, JCPennys, etc.Now what confused me was all the hype here about these are child sized, or too small, order at least a size larger, etc.More confusion:I measured my chest (bust) at 44". According to that a Large (45.26) would probably fit snug. But so many reviews said order larger. So assuming I was actually an XL (47.24) I indeed ordered the larger XXL as others recommended.Three days later I try it on and it is TOO big... so those who said go big were incorrect. I then ordered an XL, which arrived today. Perfect fit.My recommendation is to order what you normally wear.BTW I am 6' 1" at 214 lbs.But one must consider these are made in China, and perhaps some shipments arrive from various factories, or may be a slightly different version due to different manufacturers, which might account for all the various reviews reflecting size issues.I can only say that the product I recieved fit me perfectly and was the size I would normally consider from a local clothing store.

WAY too small. Not even remotely near what might be expected to be a 3XL size. The vest itself would have been fine otherwise for the price. No, it's not a premium quality vest. But you wouldn't expect it to be for under 20 bucks. It would be fine quality for a Halloween costume, stage play costume piece, under a suit coat for a Homecoming or a Prom, maybe even a wedding (as an usher, groomsmen,etc, not as the groom). It's going to be the kind of quality that you'd want to wear as an accessory a time or two, but not one that you'll want to have as a timeless staple piece in your dress wardrobe or anything that would be able to stand up to everyday wear at work. It's obviously cheaply made overseas of very cheap fabric. But that's what I figured I'd be getting for like $19.00. I didn't expect luxury formal wear. But I did expect it to fit, or at least come close to fitting. I know big and tall stuff is often a challenge and was prepared to work with it being a little small if it ran a little small. I was way more than a little small, like probably would barely have fit a size Large. I couldn't even use it for the Halloween costume I planned to use it for.

My kids are very involved in a local youth theatre and I am always on the search for costumes. My daughter was recently in a production of Alice in Wonderland and was the Cheshire Cat. She needed a purple vest.I checked everywhere locally but could not find one anyway. I found this one on Amazon. The price was great and the only size Available was a size Medium. She wears a women's medium but I wasn't sure how the men's size medium would fit. This vest is a very nicely made man's vest. It is a slick purple material on the front and balck on the back. It has a strap/belt on the back to adjust. This is a dressy vest so I could see this being used for a wedding or prom. The vest fit her perfectly and worked great for this play. She wore it for hours and hours the week of the play. She moved around all over the stage and really put it to the test. It still looks brand new!I am including some pictures. They are all taken during the play but it will give you an idea what the vest looks like. I am very pleased with this vest. It is definitely purple in color and I would order it again in a heartbeat.

These vests are on par with the moderately priced Department Store waistcoats I've seen. The fit is very close as indicated. The back adjustment, just like every other vest I own, doesn't stay put, a minor inconvenience. Buy according to your chest size. The construction is also on par with department store waistcoats I have bought, but I would watch the buttons. The vests also come with a spare button stitched on the inside rear.The pockets aren't quite "fake" as stated. They're barely stitched shut but are about 2 inches deep. Useful for carrying a pocket watch or similar item but you would need to cut the stitching. All in all I would recommend these.

After reading the reviews on sizing, I decided to order larger up. I normally wear a large and ordered a XL. Too big, I should have ordered a L or maybe a medium. I'm 5'11 190 build and it fit well in the shoulders but very large around the chest and belly area. My suit size in 44 -46 regular,, that's between M & L according to the chart. I must say the vest was very nice, sending it back to re-orderLove the look, I also ordered the matching Ascot tie, handkerchief and pocket square and cufflinks

Well made vest the price is great and we were so pleasantly surprised with the colors a violet blue and a lighter blue in the paisley just so handsome. The sizing was perfect and very comfortable too.

So do you think that's all though this item looks beautiful, it is made of very thin material but most importantly it is extraordinarily small. I bought a 3XL and it's likely the equivalent of a large. It is as though it was made for children. Very disappointed. Also, the packaging is such that if you open it to try it on you can't really return it. Headache been an accurate size I would have purchased others in different colors.

Arrived very quickly in perfect condition. I wasn't sure whether to get the Medium or Small as my Hubs is only a 36" chest. In the end I went for the Medium - it fits him very well (after we pulled the adjuster in at the back!) and if he should ever get a bit of middle-age spread, it will still fit him. Really nice fabric in the most beautiful colours, looks great. I might just have to buy him another one (such lovely colours & patterns to choose from!) The Hubs was thrilled to bits with it, thanks very much for a smashing waistcoat!

Bought this for my partner as he wears waistcoats when he's performing on stage. Fit him perfectly. My only criticism is that it looks more purpley than blue and I did so want the blue as he already had a waistcoat in purple. Fortunately they are very different by way of pattern. He loved it, so job accomplished! I would definately buy more as Amazon have a superrb choice in waistcoats for men. On the whole, happy shopper as usual.

Really pleased. Better quality than expected and great fit (please note with reference to quality and fit that have not washed it yet). Got lots of compliments at the wedding and at this price I have no hesitation in recommending this waistcoat.

I've written "too large" because the sizing information for this product makes NO SENSE at all.However, the waistcoat itself is of beautiful quality and I'm very happy with it. My son says it's comfortable and refuses to take it off once it's on him. He especially likes the flocked buttons which he can manage with ease.Really happy with this purchase.

Very pleased with this waistcoat. It fits perfectly and the material is lovely. It goes very well with blue jeans and black shirt.
