Yellow Jacket 63331 - Alloy Ratchet Tube Bender Kit

I have 30years in plumbing experience and in all of it I bought some things that were really good and others that were rubbish, this pipe bender seemed to be a brilliant bit of kit and boy was I wrong it’s not metric it’s imperial and me being me thought that’s ok I can work with that but No !!! its made for very soft copper pipe the type you can bend by hand and still keep a good curve the copper in Britain is much harder and requires a former on the top as well as bottom to keep the pipe from flaring out on the sides during the bending process I spent nearly £300 on this bender and may as well have just given the money to my wife it’s not for day to day plumbing on sanitary fixtures it’s more for Aircon fitting engineers at least that’s who I gave mine to yes GAVE and even he looked at me and laughed saying he would probably never use it so sanitary fitters and heating plumbers stay well away from these put your money on a decent pipe bender
