You pay for what you get. I had a heck of a time find a quality LP heater to plug into my deck. The first two were either for propane or so beat and broke and clearly cheap that I almost gave up on my winter cigar smoking on the deck. Then I decided to put my money were my mouth is. This unit is everything the others aren't. Sturdy, heavy base with easy instructions and very high quality components. The heat shield still came out with a tiny dent but compared to the chinese pop cans I received previous its no big deal. Took a minute to purge the lines and get the pilot hot, probably just plan on buy a long neck lighter and skipping that step. Otherwise its exactly what I should have bought the first time.
