Dakota Digital OBD-II OBDII Speedometer / Tachometer Interface Module STA-1000

This allowed me to get the speed, temp, and so much more functions on my 1966 F100 that is crown Vic swapped. Totally worth the money if you go this route. It’s very accurate and works like a charm.

I've used one for 2 years on my airboat to get a Tach reading (I have ISSPRO Gauges) from my Gen IV LS3. My original STA-1000 just broke, but that is my fault because it is mounted on top of the intake manifold. So it is subjected to all the vibrations/heat from the motor. Considering the torture testing an airboat puts a product through (water, heat, vibrations, etc.), they have my future business. I do run this boat in saltwater, where is has also held up fine. The BUS connector port finally broke off after hundreds of hours of abuse.

Got it all connected, plugged it to my OBD2 and started my engine.Nothing. Says it was "tested" in April of this year, but there is simply no power to the device.

Was able to pull both rpm and speed and supply the signal to the correct gauges. Worked very well for my LT swap into my 80 GMC

Worked twice for 5 seconds each then done for.
