Good quality build and style

I bought this for a friend and ended up keeping it for my house! My hubby liked the colors, as do I. I also like that the exterior has a grippy texture so you’re not as likely to drop it even though there’s no handle. A handle would make it nicer though. The size is larger than I thought - it holds about the same amount of water as a Stanley. Maybe a little less. But definitely more than a plastic 1-time use bottle does.

I just received my LARQ 17-oz bottle so I can't comment on durability yet, but I can address its ability to keep liquids cool. I took a 500 ml (16.9 oz) bottle of commercially bottled water from my refrigerator (temp 38 degrees F), poured it into the LARQ, and screwed the lid back on. The ambient air temperature in the room was about 74 degrees F.24 hours later, I used a cooking thermometer to check the water temperature. It was 55 degrees F, not cold but cool. I think that is acceptable. Actually, in real use, the water probably would have been consumed in just a few hours. So, I think it's safe to say that the LARQ would keep your liquids at a reasonable temperature for several hours.One observation. The photos show the tops of the bottle as a slightly lighter shade of color. In the picture, the top of the black bottle looks more gray. However, the one I received had a top that was the same black color as the bottom. Not a problem.Also the surface is not "smooth," making it easier to hold the bottle. That's good.

I love the way it keeps my water cold. It was able to really keep my water/ beverage cold for 34 hours as advertised..I am planning to upgrade to the Nano Zero filter technology.

Two days into using the product, I noticed thin flakey plastic underneath the lid that scratches off when you screw on the cap. I scratched off some of the loose plastic and am disappointed to see the lack of quality I thought LARQ provided. I really wanted to like this bottle, but can't feel safe drinking plastic.
