Why does the titel say 1/48 and item discription say 1/36?

It is 1/48. You do need to read the descriptions carefully on these vehicles as the pictures don't always match up. I contacted Kinsmart about this, and they said Amazon would not allow them to change the pictures.

Can the packages in the cargo area be removed or are they affixed to the model?
