Received the Ereada Bio mat on 04/21/2016 and started using it right away. First I'd like to say that the mat is well constructed with seemingly perfect stitching and quality materials. The mat is heavy but in this case that's a good thing. The control is large and sturdy, easy to understand and operate. Compared to it's higher priced competitor the Ereada Bio Mat line of products seems to be a great deal and a wise choice. Anyway, Like I've mentioned, I started using it right away on 04/21 and it seems that I'm already reaping the benefits. I've got a bad back due to a work injury, have had surgery and many therapy treatments to no avail. The sciatica is unbearable and constant. But since I've started using the mat I've noticed less pain, my posture is straiter and my walking has improved. I have not had a sciatic attack yet, even my wife has noticed the improvement in me and it's only 04/26. Hey, I'm not sure if it's a coincidence of if it's a matter of mind over matter. But whatever the situation, I feel better since I've started using it. I've read testimonials on how the Bio mats are miracle workers. I don't know about all of that, but I'll say so far so good. I'll update if I discover more benefits in the future. In the meantime, I'm satisfied with this purchase, Ereada seems to be a high quality company with high quality products. I'd say it's worth a try if it's within your budget. I've read that there are almost an endless array of health benefits to thousands of users out there. I think I may be added to that list. Enjoy.

This heating mat is amazing!! My husband just turns it on and he falls asleep immediately. It relaxes him very fast.

I purchased by mat in July 2019 and absolutely love it! I had used a BIO mat at my acupuncture’s office and was looking for something comparable because I loved the way it made my body feel. This mat was less expensive and I can feel the same benefits I was looking for. It comes in a large box depending on the size you order and it is very professionally packed. It comes in a bag in case you to need to pack and move it around, since it is quite heavy. VERY well packaged with informational guides and instructions to provide helpful FAQs. Packaging-exceeded expectations. Set up was also very easy, clear instructions on first use and how to continue to use regularly- Set up-exceeded expectations. I use my mat every day, I love sleeping on it at a low setting, makes a HUGE difference in how my body feels every day. And I also like to use it at the highest setting for short times. I lead an active lifestyle and this addition has helped me continue to feel and do what I love most. I exercise often and this mat has helped tremendously for recovery and muscle fatigue. For everyday use it helps with sleeping and feels actually quite nice to sleep on, like a heating pad with MANY more benefits. –Product-exceed expectations. Where I was really blown away was with customer service. My mat randomly stopped heating. It would turn on but would not heat and it was just a couple months of using. I called their dedicated service team and gave them the situation and my contact information. I had a response within a couple hours and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. They immediately sent me a new mat, and not just a replacement, and upgraded size and pillow. They clearly felt bad that my original product malfunctioned so quickly and made it right. Within days I had my new products and even get to keep original, they sent me a follow up email with ways that a malfunctioned mat can still be of use. To say that I am satisfied is an understatement, I am beyond happy with my experience so far. I will continue to recommend there products based off product and customer service.

I am very disappointed and would like to know if we can return or exchange. The temperature sensor seems to be working, but the the heating element is not. After I reported the issue, I've received top-notch customer service from BOTH Amazon AND the the seller, Medicrystal. Not only did I receive more than one replacements (they gave me 2) but I also received advice on how to best maintain these therapeutic mats. Wanted to share with other customers here so they can enjoy longevity of their products.Again, 5 solid stars. Thank you for your excellent customer service!Tips from the Seller company for possible reasons that a mat encounters an issue:• (1) Controller fault because of power outages, spikes, falling, watering. Please unplug the amethyst mat from the power outlet when you do not use it to save it from such issues. When you use the pad during storms, connect it through a surge protector.• (2) Loose connection because of pulling controller by wires and connectors wearing. Please do not disconnect the mattress from the controller more frequently than necessary. Better to leave the amethyst mat and controller connected forever. Unplugging from the power socket is enough.• (3) Excessive pressure on the warming stone mat, walking, exercising on it. Strong impact or high pressure applied with a sharp object. Dogs, cats, children, water, controller left on top of the warming mat can damage temperature sensors inside. Use the warming mat only to lay on without too many movements or turns. Some customers with high weight and toss and turn from side to side way of sleeping may non-consciously apply excessive pressure on the mat. For example, if the customer leans his/her elbow on the mat spot exactly where one of the sensors or bimetal switches is located, it can damage the interior connection terminals. Connection terminals are well done to withstand such pressure. But it is still possible if the pressure force is significant or repeats in the same spot and the connection is weak or gets weaker from day to day,• (4) Heating the gemstone mat in a bent or folded condition is not allowed. The majority of customers of professional and single size mats and many owners of the midsize mats use them to sleep every night. A small body shape curvature is a regular thing and should not be a reason for any problems. However, we do not recommend to use the mat on a soft mattress if the customer's weight is so heavy that the body makes a pit inside the mat.• (5) Never cover the heated stone pad surface with camp mats, foam toppers, solid objects, rubber or gel mats, or other heat blocking layers. Do not put a pillow on top of the heating surface. All this can damage the overheat protection system. To extend the mat's life, we recommend using it flat on your bed, floor, or massage table.• (6) Make sure you cover the heating surface ENTIRELY with our 3-D air-mesh pad or waterproof protector or not more than a one-inch thick layer of cotton towels. If you cover the mat partially, it will disrupt the central controller chip and temperature sensors' functionality. Partial using of your mat's warming surface may also cause different measurements results in the various spots of your mat and controller failure.• (7) Deep infrared heating can remove toxins with perspiration. The sweat may be erosive and can damage the upper layer within months or years. Please make sure you use your mat with a waterproof cover to protect it.• (8) Avoid storing your mat in a vertical or horizontal position against the wall. Do not fold it while still hot. One should fold the mat only in those lines where it is folded initially, and never apply excessive pressure to this. Avoid folding too tightly, putting heavy or sharp items on top - all this can damage the mat. For longer life, better not to fold the heated stone mat frequently. We recommend keeping it flat and secured inside the waterproof protector on or under your bed when you do not use it.• (9) Moving the mat in a flat condition from under the bed to put it on top. You can take the mat by hands in those spots where the inner connectors, bimetal switches, or temperature sensors are. In this case, the weight of the mat itself can pull the wires out of connectors. This force can damage the interior connection terminals. It is better to fold the mat first on the floor so that you could pick it up and put on the bed without any risks of pulling inner wires. Then you can unfold the mat on the bed.
