Coleman 33-Quart Party Stacker Cooler

Bought both a 33 quart and a 25 quart version of this item. I needed the low profile of the 33 quart version to fit in the bed of my Honda Ridgeline with a Roll-n-Lock bed cover with the cover closed. Either the 33 or 25 quart version also fit nicely in the back seat of the Ridgeline between my two kids when we go on road trips. We haven't used it for this yet but I think this would work nicely to help keep something like a casserole dish warm on the way to a party. These are thin walled coolers so don't expect them to keep things cold for extended periods of time (i.e. more than 6 to 8 hours).

I purchased this cooler because I am on the road quite a lot and am sick of being limited to eating what's available at rest stops etc. The cooler needed to be large enough to hold breakfast and lunch items (almond milk, lunch meat and condiments), as well as beer. I also wanted a cooler which would fit in my trunk and allow plenty of room for other things as well. I really wanted something which was made in the U.S.A., and something green, if possible. This product met all of those criteria. I've taken it on several trips for business and keeping it in the hotel room (when they didn't have a fridge.) I've also taken it on bicycling trips and to races to leave in the car for cold drinks after. On moderate temperature days, the ice stays pretty well frozen all day long. There was one really hot day in which I needed to refresh the ice in the afternoon.This cooler would be perfect for almost anyone. Camping trips, road trips etc. It's very sturdy and works really well. If there is one down side, it would just be that there is not a spigot with which to drain the water from the melting ice. You have to just dump it out from the top. I have never found this to be an issue at all, but as this is amazon, I wanted to provide everyone with a accurate account.

This is the taller stacker. They make short ones and one bigger than this one with wheels. I got this one to go with the short ones I already have. Note "party" in the name- I think these are meant for taking something cold somewhere like a party or picnic. They are very thin walled and do not hold ice long. If you want extended cold, get a cooler with "5 days" on it.What these are good for is they are easy to dig through because they are shallow. Also, if you have food to keep cool (not cold) in a hot car, you can stack a short one full of ice on top of one without ice. Works for whole veggies, fruit, bread ( food you'd normally not refrigerate. They are also small enough to pick up when full.As someone else has pointed out, these are great for groceries or taking food somewhere because the size and shape is easy to carry. Stacking them conserves the temp from top to bottom. But seriously considering wrapping insulation around the sides because the size and shape are so convenient when stacked.

I use this cooler to transport 9x13 Pyrex dishes or half pan sized containers of food out to our tailgate. Since the food will be grilled within a couple of hours, the minimal insulation is not a concern.What sets this item apart is that it is wider than other coolers in its class. If this is important to you then you will love it. If you are just looking for a basic all around cooler, there are better options out there.

I love the idea of stackable coolers! I like Coleman too... but, this ultra thin plastic is not so cool.I got 4 of them and the lids get dented. It is not strong enough to sit on. To clarify, you can not stack these stackable coolers unless they are light. Hmm... advertising says, it will hold a bunch of liquid filled containers with ice but they are too heavy to stack without damage. Wow, way to go Coleman! Foam injection is not consistent. Got one with spongy handles and an other with foam climbing out from cracks. Tisk risk.In conclusion: Be gentle and try not to stack them... OK?

Edit for update...I'm lowering my rating to 2 star. Solely due to the lack of keep cold. Recent example, packed up with long necks and TWO bags of ice at about 9:00am for tailgating before a 2:00pm game. Got to parking lot, unloaded and went for first beer about 11:30am. Easily half the ice was melted. Buddy had an extra bag of ice, so added that. Tailgated, went to game. After game decided to sit and have a cold one. I'd say 75% of ice was melted. It wasn't lasting much longer. I'm now looking for another cooler just for beer/cokes. And use these stackers for food (that will be cooked and eaten relatively quickly) and dry good. I'll likely get a cheap $20 3 day cooler from Walmart that I expect will do much better. Really can't recommend these at all. I really don't understand the high ratings by others. These are literally the worse coolers I've ever used. Shame, good sizes and easy to store and put in a car.__________I thought these "stacker" coolers would be a good idea for tailgating. I have a car (hatchback) I use for tailgating so stacking in there would be great and easy to organize. For this very specific purpose they are "OK". But nothing special.First, don't bother with the smaller size. Even this one is not that big. Putting in ice leaves little room for much else. Yes 12 oz bottles stand up in this unit, but it doesn't hold that many. Enough for a couple people, but would need something else for much more than that. I ended up getting 2 of each size. I use one of the smaller one's just for "dry" goods. Bread, knives, foil. All the "other" stuff needed.But the worse part, it just is not that good as a cooler. Ice begins melting almost instantly. If I pack up in the morning for a night baseball game, I almost always have to refill with ice again just before getting to the game. And we haven't even gotten to the heat of the summer! These would be all but useless for camping, all day on a boat or such.So for tailgating (or maybe at home party) I'll give them a 3. If the stacking helps you out. But if you don't need the stacking there are much better and cheaper options.I'm not sure I'd recommend even for tailgating. If I did over again, I'd probably go in a different direction.

I ordered this to add on to the smaller one we already have. Light and easy to carry. Useful flat top for stacking or storage. Long term useful.

保冷性を求めるのであれば、釣り用のクーラーボックスを検討すべきです。しかし、ちょっとしたレジャーやキャンプなどでは大活躍します。そこそこ容量があるし、何よりテーブルとして使えるのが良い。車に一つ積んでおくと便利です。
