My first Elac Product and I'm very satisfied
I was looking to upgrade from a budget 10" sub to get more low bass out of action movies and for music listening. Space and placement options limited my choices to a small box size. On reading reviews mentioning the Sub 3010 with its passive radiator and how they can have decent low bass with that small footprint I need, I decided to pull the trigger and get one during the recent sale. Setup next to the right front speaker it gives exactly what I was looking for in bass response. Low enough to get the most of movies sound tracks and nicely weighted bass for music listening.Edit: 2 years later after buying a 2nd Sub3010 along with a Denon 950 AVR equipped with basic Audyssey I'm in heaven. Initial setup showed a broad dip of 10db between 70 and 90Hz for the combined subs. Using the delay feature on the Elac app I set a 1ms delay on the second sub which is to the side of the listening position and much closer than the other sub. Audyssey now shows a narrow dip between 70 and 80Hz of about 7db before correction, otherwise the response is basically flat at +/- 3 db between 30 and 150Hz according to the app. That Elac makes a sub at this price point with the adjustment capabilities it has makes setup easy for those that want to tweak for best performance in their room. No expensive equipment or vast technical knowledge needed.

Why buy one when you can have two...
I recently picked up a second one of these for my home theater. It is not a dedicated theater but a living room also but after hearing so many positives on YouTube about having two subs I gave it a go. I originally got a 5.1 sy stem on the cheap when Amazon offered the Elac debut b6 2.0 at 50% off a few cChristmas's ago. It was obviously a smoking deal. This next one I got on sale but not like the first. Once hooked up I immediately noticed the ease at which the bass comes now. It is effortless and far more well dispersed around the room. You can actually feel the vibration far more when sitting in the couch or chairs in the room and demoing with some of the hifi audio on YouTube was eyeopening at how clear and again effortless the bass is. Very happy with Elac thus far. One note is they due need a bit more power/volume than my previous 5.1 system which were Boston Acoustics but when you find the sweet spot they are all fantastic!

Not for movies.
Maybe because I was too excited about its bookshelf and floor standing brothers.I bought this despite all the negative reviews, but I'm letting it go now. It works fine for music, but not for movies. The app for the woofer works very well though.I am going for svs sb 2000 pro instead.

It's a good sub, slightly hobbled by requiring a not-so-great app
I wanted the sub to round out a system with other Debut 2.0 speakers. This was a little larger than I thought I wanted, but it fit into my space fine. I nearly returned it due to the lack of physical controls and an initial failure to connect to the speaker via the downloaded Android app. But I did get it set up and it's not the kind of thing I think I'll need to frequently adjust. The sub is very beefy at the low end and can really rumble when it needs to... you just need to configure the cut-over frequency between the sub and the other speakers and the volume and you should be good to go. Physical controls would have earned it that missing fifth star...
