Basic but nice decanter.

This is a superb wine decanter. It fully aerates the wine and looks beautiful. Perfect gift too

You get what you pay for. I expected a $37 decanter and that’s what I got. The coaster for the decanter was warped upon arrival and the decanter has a rather significant air bubble in its wall. Time will tell on the durability of that air bubble in the glass. I just need it to decant the wine. The wine is the hero not the decanter. If I wanted a decanter that was the hero I would have paid a price that aligned with that expectation. Thus the 4/5 stars and not 5/5.

It’s a decent decanter, but…it’s heavy. That makes it difficult to clean and, at times, pour the wine. Because of the weight, during the first week of use I hit the top edge against the sink while cleaning causing a chip. That hasn’t deterred me from using it, however. For me, I can never get the aerator far enough into the decanter to work properly so I just pour the wine directly into it. That’s what I’m accustomed to doing anyway. I’m glad that others have liked it, but it’s just been okay for me.06/12/25 Update: the glass in this decanter, at least in the one I had, is very brittle. I ended up getting another one because the lip had become so chipped. I can’t recommend this product because of that.

So happy to have found this decanter recommendation. It’s stylist enough to keep on display all the time (love the included wooden coaster and brass details). It worked very well on a very fancy bottle of wine that accidentally accumulated more cork than desired and looks cool when you pour in the wine too. Made a big difference.

Had a wine party with friends and everybody loved this decanter. It looks great so I just keep it out as decoration until I need to drink some wine.

Be careful very beautiful and lots of amazing complements but neck is fragile. Loved the filter and aerator function. I never realized how much sediment is in you wine and we had a cork break in the middle and just pushed it into the bottle, poured it out and filter caught every bit of debris. Love it!
