Eco friendly alternative to Kirkland ito en tea and if anything better!
I've typically purchased Ito-en tea from Costco for maybe 8 years now. Found out to my utter dismay the teabags are plastic. I've lived in Japan and bought back a fair bit of tea (the same ito en brand but in Japan it's all biodegradable) but found it was extremely expensive here in the UK to get it. Thought I'd give this brand a shot and it's excellent! They aren't individually wrapped but that doesn't bother me for my morning tea so when you open the packet/box you see all 50 tea bags. They taste wonderful, the fresh grassy flavour I love from sencha and smell extremely fresh with a slight hue of matcha powder. Had a long shelf life as well which I'm pleased with. Will be buying this brand from now on!
