If you want color the scratch I'd say yes. I would fill tvhe scratch/dent prior to coloring/

I got the colors but not brush or filler that it shows with this kit?

on of the white is the filler. use the end as a spatula.. i used a dry cloth to rid excess. set doesnt vome with brucg. i used one i had. loved the ou come, baught another det for other projects.

How would i make a shiny gold color for my dresser?

Good question because I needed a shiny gold color but could only match the color close to the gold I wanted. But it was not shiny.
