Do these stretch well at the top? I have large, muscular calves (19") and wonder how stretchy these are (or if they will stretch but look terrible).

I bought these for my daughter. She said they stretch but her calfs are much smaller so my guess is they probably aren't as stretchy on larger legs.

Will these fit my 5 year old?

I bought these socks for my almost 7 year old last year for her Halloween costume. They fit up over her knees and with extra room at the heels but they worked out good enough. My daughter loved them!

Are the capes actually shiny?

Yes, the ones I received were shiny.

Will these fit my child?

They're adult size and fit me who where's a size 11 in womens. Depending in the age of the child, they may fit like tights. I'm 5'7" and they came to my knee. Hope this helps.
