I compare most everting I purchase looking for honest reviews and reviews that have real value unlike someone giving an item one star because it arrived 2 min late or was the wrong color that’s not helpful people and not the products fault for lowering the score. So like another review on here I was comparing mostly to the Housable castors. I seen nothing that pursued me to spend more money on those. These were individually packaged in bubble wrap, included a 1 year warranty with an instruction card included on how to activate said Warranty. There was one piece of information I don’t recall seeing on this wheel and that’s the thickness of the material on the wheel which comes to 5/16”. Also these are the 3/8” threaded post and I installed them on a small work table that had metal legs and hard plastic inserts on the end and when I used my dial caliper the size of the hole in these particular end caps came to .338, short of the .375 3/8” takes up however these actually fit perfectly like the holes themselves were threaded. The posts did not just slide in the hole but I was able to thread the post thru the opening like it was an internal nut. I found that to be very desirable. I can’t say for the other brand but this one came with one flat and one lock washer with a nut that requires a 14mm wrench or you can choose to use the stamped piece of metal called a”wrench” that was included. I chose a box wrench. Also I chose to install an additional larger diameter flat washer between the plastic cap on the leg and the top of the wheel assembly. I felt a second washer was warranted spreading out the force of the nut onto a larger area instead over what someone might consider a built in washer on the wheel housing, ( I do not), I also chose to add some red loctite permanent Threadlocker 271 on the threads as I also don’t put a lot of faith in lock washers as the only means of preventing nuts from working loose. These casters roll perfectly smooth over a very not so smooth concrete floor. This helped raise the overall height of my table which only helped the matter, the locking mechanism is easy to see and ma . For the money I can’t see what any other caster could offer that had a higher price, even Harbor Freight wants $6 per wheel for same wheel. I would trust the company again if I had to order wheels which I most likely will be doing for another project.More expensive doesn’t always mean better product and cheaper doesn’t necessarily mean inferior or junk as this is an example of high quality while being cheaper.

I upgraded from my old 2” caster wheels on my garage desk to these 3” (3/8” threaded stud) ones because they will travel smoothly over the garage floor slab joints. The urethane material and increased wheel diameter made a dramatic difference. Also, I mounted these new wheels using “Hat Nuts” with 3/8”-16 thread. The hat nuts also have three screws that strengthen the wood leg to prevent from splitting, making for a very solid mount. Overall, a dramatic improvement in my garage desk, and being able to move it around with ease, and apply brakes for safety.

These work great to make my radial arm saw more portable. Sawing anything inside makes a dusty sawdust mess, so I'd rather saw outside . Getting the saw through the door though was a chore, but is now easier with these casters. And they don't leave black scuff marks on the floor like some casters do. They also lock easily and stay locked, easy to unlock too. I'm happy with this purchase.

There were two wrenches for the nuts the wheel and a “After-service sales” card, on card stock showing a web page and QR code, but no telephone number. All inside the nicer box. When the brake was fully applied on these wheels, they tended to stay locked. These casters were designed offset, so they are shorter, about 1/2" shorter in height than the Houseables.The Houseables was one bag for all wheels, no wrenches and a simple letter sized paper showing a generic installation when using the nut and washer, and a telephone number. All in a standard cardboard box. When the brake was applied on these wheels, after only a couple of impacts they became unlocked. These casters were designed simply and ended up being about 1/2" taller in height than the Holkie.See photos explaining the lower height of Holkie due to offset. And know that the wheel turns with plenty of clearance even if the one sided photo doesn’t show that. The both turn nicely, the ball bearings are visible and look very much the same.I ended up returning the Houseables due to the unlocking situation and got a second Holkie set.Holkie gets a 4 star review.Houseables gets a 3 star review.TPinSwUSA rating scale:★ Well below expectations.
