Q: Has anyone used this successfully on a Winnebago Boldt?

This can work on all maxxair/fantastic fan roof vents as long as the vent knob does not stick below the roofline. If the knob hangs lower than the flange (due to shallow mount of the vent), it will not work.

Q: Can these be folded back partially to vent and cover most of the fan at the same time?

Yes, the first section of the vent (25%) can be folded down (and hangs) to allow the vent/light to come in as needed.

Q: Will this help keep heat in during winter camping?

Yes, this will help insulate against the cold

Q: Has anyone installed this on a Dometic Fan-Tastic fan?

If you read as in READ the description it clearly states in TITLE too that it does work same way for the Fantastic Fan. Note it states Fantastic Fan which is Dometic Fan TM branded. So yes it fits a Fantastic Fan that's the classic 14.5x14.5 size range. You install THE same way it discusses installing with the Maxxair fans. You'll need to remove the interior flange or finish cover and set cover down on solid flat counter or table surface. Then place the removed frame on top of the cover. Next take the supplied magnets and attach as they show being done. Now you need to secure these placed magnets with tape to keep them in place for good. Now return the frame or flange to the roof using the screws you took out and viola you can now put your magnetic secured cover up on your Roof Fan and have insulation and black out light curtain when needed.

This roof vent cover is made with 5.0mm woven fabric double foiled aluminum XPE insulation which reflects up to 95% of radiant heat, durable ripstop UV resistant polyester fabrics and powerful N52 Neodymium magnets. This roof vent cover fits the MaxxAir Fan or Fantastic Fan with 16.5″ x 16.5″ flange. Comes with storage sack and installs easily with magnets. Instructions for installing the magnets for a vent/fan cover Remove the fan/vent flange from the interior of your van (most are attached with four screws). Place the window cover on a flat surface with the VanEssential tag side facing down Place the flange on top so that the flat surface rests on the cover Place the included magnets on the flange so that they snap into place with the magnets inside the fan cover Use painters tape (or similar) to secure the magnets in place Install the flange back into your van. Now the vent cover will snap into place when needed.
