You only add Witch Hazel if you are making a DIY recipe like a perfume or insect repellent and such. If you are making a roller recipe you only add a carrier oil such as olive oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil Hope that helps you.

Q: Are the roller balls removable?

They come separate and you put them in, if needed.

Q: Can you put lip oils in here

I don't know... if it's a thin oil, maybe.
