I am a first-time user of a fine beard brush. As you would expect from most German-made products, this beard brush is constructed to high-quality standards. With a perfectly-sized brush head and matching handle length (even perfect for a large man's hand), the medium stiff bristles are oh-so perfect for my facial skin since the daily brushing does not cause any unwelcome irritation (which is expected of a coarse bristled brush). With light and few strokes, I have also used this beard brush with favorable success on my head hair, which is extremely thin and susceptible to pulling-out (so I have to be careful up there!).The pear wood is beautiful in color, and the wood is nicely finished and well-protected from any liquid staining and scaling. The small velvety carrying case is nicely-sized for storing this brush during travel because it protects your goods from any accumulating beard wax or balm that may be on the brush.Generally speaking, this premium pocket-sized beard brush is extremely functional and durable…like a German war tank. Lastly, many people have concerns about spurious bristle loss -- I have not lost one single bristle from my brush after two months of continual use. I truly believe this brush will last nearly a lifetime.There are many different beard brushes of different designs and different prices to choose on the market. But, I am so glad I bought this one for my own grooming needs, despite the increased cost. There is good justification for this cost-extra, and you should NOT shy away from this brush due to its price-tag. If you are as fussy as I am, then I know you will be quite happy with this beard brush.

Seemed bit small at first but its perfect for me after some months with it.Bristles are just right, stiff with just lil bit of soft flex.There has been some marginal loss of bristles (3 to 4) every 1 to 2 weeks at a time, but this has little to no impact I have seen. Love it.

Love this brush, grooms my beard quite well. Was deciding between the 3 row and this 4 row brush, but ultimately went with the 4 because I thought it would help comb better. Really like it, like the handel on the brush too and it’s the perfect size! I would recommend getting and using Beard Balm to help tame and literally BEAUTIFY your magnificent beard. Buy this brush!!!

I bought this for my husband, who has short hair and a trimmed beard. He really likes the size and feel of it, and he uses it not only on his beard but on his hair as well. He says it kind of feels like he's getting a head massage when he uses it. I tried it on my short hair, which is longer than his, but it's thicker and the brush didn't penetrate it very well. The only thing he doesn't like was that the brush lost two bristles almost immediately. So far it hasn't lost more so we hope that will be all it loses! Overall it's a good brush for short hair or beard.

I’m 6’4”. A fairly big man, and this tiny brush is not what I ordered. It’s a nice brush, just tiny!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it. He was always using my hair brush for his beard so I figured it was time to get him his own. The bristles are coarse so they catch every hair in the beard and really smoothes them out. It's a small brush and comes in a bag, which is great for travel. It can fit comfortably in a guys pocket if they wanted to carry it on them. If you have a guy or if you are a guy with a thick beard I would definitely recommend this to you.

The wood is finished nicely and after several months, no bristles have come out. Just be aware that the size is about half of a normal size hair brush. This works great for travel and is also an excellent moustach brush. The bristles are very stiff.

The bristles are horribly trimmed at the part that touches your face and beard (I had to take scissors to get the bristles halfway uniform in length). The bristles are extremely hard and inflexible, so their claim that this is a "medium" softness is a lie. Very poor quality overall...wish I had picked a cheaper brush which couldn't be any worse than this horribly made brush. Also, came in a disposable cardboard box, not in a fabric pouch as pictured...yet another reason to buy a different branded brush.
