You listened to your consumers and went from a one-star review for the previous, ugly, easily breakable with horrible lids, gen to reclaim your five-stars with this most recent release.You went from horrible back to wonderful, with only a slight color change that blends easily with your previous best gen with black lids. I still have the original ones these are patterned after and I am beyond thrilled you rethought your previous terrible re-design of the perfect food storage containers. I couldn't find anything equal so I quit buying Rubbermaid rather than make do with something inferior.The teeny-tiny, what will I use these for containers, just make me laugh. Would rather have one more of the more useful, small size than these. These will just take up space and eventually be donated. Not a great include, in my very humble opinion.A note on the previous-to-this, ugly, easily breakable gen. I hated the lids so much that I put them in a closet, just in case, used the lids from my former gen, and they sit there even today. I feel comfortable donating them now.10/22/19: After using these for a while I am back to report that these containers suck on an epic level. Every single one of them has broken and cracked, and faster than the previous Rubbermaid set I own that is infinitely better. I used the old lids with this set and put the new lids in a box in my closet because I dislike them so much. Need more containers because these all broke with light use. I won't be buying more of this set. SUCKY!Original: I don't like the shape of the lids at all. Trying to replace a previous set and was hoping this would work well. Sort of. Unfortunately, about half of the lids I received have an actual hole in the top about 1/16 of an inch deep where detritus will accumulate. Gross!!! I've ordered a second set hoping that the lids will be okay. I can't use lids with holes.

Here's the story: my bride decided to replace her "pretty old" storage containers so she went to Kohl's and bought a box, brought them home and fussed about them not being as "clear" as her old ones (both by Rubbermaid). And she was REALLY unhappy. Often things like this end up in my lap, so it was no surprise when about two weeks later she tasked me with finding the "ORIGINAL" stuff. That actually ended up being quite a research project. I learned that Rubbermaid made lots of different types of storage containers and pictures of them weren't helpful in determining which ones were the "right" ones.Good fortune prevailed and I was able to determine that I had to focus on the NAME of the product, because regardless of the picture, I dared not buy anything unless i was certain it was clear (not just transparent, some are of a material that looks cloudy, and that was the problem). I determined that the right one was PREMIER but was never able to find a store locally who was displaying that particular version so that I could be certain of what I was getting. I finally read enough reviews to determine that PREMIER was the right one but then it became difficult to find the right size set with the right mix of containers.Amazon came through. They offered a set that had the right sizes and didn't have useless sizes in it, but I had to buy two of them to get the total quantity my bride needed to change out everything in the cupboard. The math worked in my favor, it was less expensive to buy two identical sets to get what she needed instead of buying a bigger set with useless sizes.If you are looking for the one that is hard plastic that is really a see-through,with the really good lids this is the one. I hope someone at Rubbermaid hears this and stops trying to reinvent the wheel with crappy materials. This stuff is hard to find, but AMAZON has it!Happy wife, Happy life.

I love these! The lids fit nicely and they are very sturdy. The best part is that nothing sticks or soaks in after warming something in the microwave. Not even tomato! Stays nice and clear and odor free. I've even gone from freezer to microwave with great results. The only drawback is that the lids WILL melt in the microwave, so cover with paper towel or something. Still good enough for 5 stars. I paid full price and would do it again. As a matter of fact I just ordered two more of the 2-cup version.

These are very nice and pretty. Holds food well.The price is steep for the small sizes but good hard plastic.

I have been using this product for years and as design's change by Rubbermaid I am glad to see this one is still around. I don't really care for the new snap lid design as the flap lids do not store well in my opinion. I also like the clear brilliance of the container. Not sure I like a black lid as my past lids have been colorful in red and turquoise, but this product can't be beat for storability, stackability & top rack dishwasher safe.

I had 2 old sets that I got at Costco years ago. They were due to be donated, so I ordered 2 new sets. The funny thing is-I only got one. One was returned by the post office as it didn't fit in my oversize post box. I'm assuming they were shipped in the same-size boxes, so how one fit and the other didn't is beyond me. I think I didn't have my usual letter carrier, and got a lazy one.I'm finding that maybe I didn't need all the containers from 2 sets. The lids fit tightly, and everything goes in the dishwasher just fine. There is not the huge one from the Costco set, and there's a few really tiny ones, which I thought I wouldn't use, but I do.Good purchase, good value.
