I really like how easy to use this thermometer is. It's also very accurate with temperatures. I'm a weary parent so I like to make sure things work to the best quality especially when it comes to my kids. So I gave this a thermometer a try with my pediatrician and it was as accurate as his was. So easy and they are used to this type of thermometer it makes it much easier to keep an eye on their temperature when they are not feeling well. It also doesn't wake the. Up when they try to sleep which is great. No one wants to wake a sleeping baby. This is also very durable which is good being in a home with 2 toddler children. Great item.

Completely worthless. We've owned this for over a year and never had to use it. With the recent coronavirus outbreak we have used it a few times for precautionary tests. No matter how you use it, forehead or ear, the thing will never measure above 97.1°, so either my whole family lives in hypothermia, or this thing was calibrated at the factory using a dead body. If you're thinking of buying this, spend 99 cents on a generic meter instead. It will give you much more accurate results!

This thermometer has great reviews but I was less than thrilled with it. First off it beeps when it is done reading, so I wouldn't be able to check my daughters temperature when she is sleeping, because I'm sure it would wake her. The instructions say to hold the button and put across the forehead, I noticed that the longer you hold it on the forehead the higher the temperature. With other thermometers it would beep when the reading is done, this one stops reading when you stop pushing the button...so the reading is really up to you and how quickly or long you take to swipe the forehead.

I love how this can be used as a forehead thermometer for my school aged kids or as an ear thermometer for my toddler. It is simple to use, but I'm not sure of the accuracy as my other thermometer is broken, thus why I ordered this one. It reads my temperature in the green range when I feel fine an i got it to read in the red range after getting my toddler out of a warm bath, so that is a good sign.

My daughter has a history of febrile seizures and they are fairly terrifying. When she gets even the smallest fever I get paranoid and try to monitor her temperature every 30 minutes or so. I have an expensive thermometer I bought awhile back but lately its been acting slower and so I decided it was time to buy a back up. I ordered this infrared thermometer because the price was reasonable and I liked the idea of a fast read out, struggling with a sick child to get a temp is never fun.The thermometer so far has worked great. While my daughter hasnt had to use it yet but son got the flu and I used the thermometer every few hours for just about a week straight. We tried both the forehead and the option and both seem to be accurate. My son liked the ear best but I know my daughter would not be a fan of that option. The read out honestly takes seconds which was a big plus. While this was an affordable thermometer I am glad to see it was comparable to my pricier unit and I may even buy another just to keep in the car!

Having a thermometer handy when having a child at home is extremely necessary. When I purchased this thermometer I was looking for something affordable, easy to use and a product that can be reliable with good reputation. So far I have nothing but a good experience with this awesome thermometer. I received many compliments about it by people who visit my home to see my daughter. They always ask where I got it from and I always point them to the right direction.The fact that it's so easy to use is amazing. The screen lights up red if the reading is incorrect. It lights up green when good! It comes with a nice pouch to keep it safe. It's fast it's easy! I could not ask for more.If you're looking for a good product that work flawlessly. We loved this at first but we are starting to get some very odd readings... also, the ear and head readings come back different often. So wanted to love this!!

I just received the infrared thermometer and was surprised how easy it was to use. It gives a quick response, almost instant. This is great for small children as it is non-invasive and can be used either on the head or ear. It gives you a beep and lights up with the temperature reading which is very easy to read, unlike traditional thermometers that I struggle to find the numbers. Very well made. I would definitely recommend this thermometer!
