I use them for work in low voltage and they work good

Needed some non-passthrough connectors for old Cat5e cables, and these appeared well made and fit the bill. There is a detailed spec sheet to back up what they advertised. The cables fit the connectors well, and the connector crimp tab held the cable tightly. Very good for the money.The connectors came in a sealed pull-tap plastic can, and the metal rim left a sharp edge. Just be careful reaching in. There is a specification drawing in the can.They also included a free sample bag of 2-pin RJ11 connectors. I would not needed to buy a bag of RJ11s had I got these sooner. ;)

These do work.If you have not used these before...You gotta have an acceptable/descent/good crimper.Watch some YouTube videos how to use these. If you attach these poorly, your network will function poorly.

At first, I didn't have good luck with them. Tried 4 connectors and all failed with wires open. However, later I tried to use non pass through crimper and both connectors were tested good. Then I decided to get a new non-pass through crimper and the connectors are working fine. So it turns out the issue was with the first pass through crimper was bad and not these connectors. The only issue I have is they have wire locations 1, 3, 5, 7 on the upside of the pass through and wire locations 2, 4, 6, 8 on the bottom side of the connector. So sometimes I have tough time to push the wires through although it should not really matter. By the way, it is easier to use them with thinner wires.

It doesn't fit the female connector! It may be a bad batch but these plugs are too wide to fit. Be sure to try it as soon as you get it otherwise you won't be able to return it.
