We took this water purifier with us on a weekend trip to Coyote Gulch, Utah, and it was a total lifesaver. It’s lightweight, compact, and super easy to use, perfect for backpacking. Several people in our group used it multiple times, and it held up really well. The filter lasted the whole trip without any issues. We definitely recommend it for anyone heading out on a backcountry adventure!

If you want to take someone out mess with their water. Without clean water you cant drink, clean stuff, or even wash up. This filter pump is compact and rechargable.

Nice, powered filter device, easy to charge via USB, filter works well. I use this to pump lake water into my RV as potable water. Takes about 15 minutes to filter 5 gallons and still has plenty of charge. Back flow the filter when done. Good to go.

I don't camp like I used to anymore. I've gotten to the point where I like to actually enjoy the camp more than the hike. One of the biggest detractors in my earlier days was pumping to filter water. Hated it.This guy... Savior. Set it up, push button, check on it every so often while finishing other camp chores.It's a little heavier than your normal Backcountry filter but just as compact as most. The automatic pumping absolutely makes up for the weight.For my uses so far, it has done a great job of filtering various sources of water ranging from spring fed creeks to slightly muddy puddles. The one thing it doesn't seem to do so well is clean up the taste. It works, but there always seems to be some off tasting note to the water. I expected a bit more from a multistage filter.The unit is well made, great feel in the hands. The shell is actually a little rubberized so it doesn't slip when wet.Great value all around. Would buy more if the need arises.

It was light as could be! I was thinking it would be heavier but it wasn’t! I loved that I could fit it right inside my camping backpack and be ready to go. It seems to be durable but will be up to the test when hiking.

I read the reviews before I bought this that said the pump would automatically turn on by itself and you couldn't turn the light off or stop it from flashing. I assumed this was a fluke and not the norm. I was wrong. I ran the device for about 10 minutes after I purchased it to clean out the filter before taking it on a back country trip. It seemed to work okay, other than not producing a steady stream of water. After I took the hoses off and tried to charge it, it wouldn't show that it was charging. I turned the light on to make sure it wasn't completely dead, and then it completely malfunctioned. The light wouldn't turn back off and the pump would sporadically turn on. The light just kept flashing. I believe the issue is that although instructions tell you to fill the top cartidge area with water to prime the pump, water spills across the top once you put the cartridge back in and short circuits the electronics. The idea of this is great but the reality is that it is made too cheaply to actually work. Don't buy this. The description says that it's splash proof. It's been determined, this is a lie.In the end, I could not get it to turn off, despite putting it in front of a blow dryer for an hour. I had to sit it in the backyard for fear that it would burn my house down.

Update; customer service reached out to help correct the problem for which I am grateful. I hope the replacement lasts longer than the original. I really want this to work!Disappointed! Went to use the filter for only the second time yesterday and it leaked from the bottom plus now it won’t shut off! Water must have leaked past some internal seal. Products need to last longer than 6 months after purchase and more than once!Thankfully we were not on a long hike this time!
