Great as a flashlight for nighttime excursions and as a mini-lantern in the tent. The carabiner allowed it to be hung from the apex of our tent providing variable lighting as the situation demanded.

Light is bright enough but the battery clip pops open all the time. used some electrical tape to keep it shut.

Got broken after 1 month ....

Great light! Very bright. Does the job you need it to do. Very easy to use and will be great in my tent. Love how bright it is. Gives out a lot of light.I realize how important a good review is to a buyer. I give honest and heart felt reviews on products that a purchase and receive. I base most of my purchases on reviews so I understand that it is fair to be completely honest on reviews. That being said I hope this review will help a buyer with his or her decision to buy or not buy this product

Smaller than I expected. It measures 6 inches long by 1.5 inches wide by 0.75 inches height. The good thing is the item is meant as a Christmas gift for a little kid. But I would not recommend for adult use. Also it does come with AA batteries but not Rayovac rather some generic brand.
